E Team reporting...

Montana, in the thick of the pennant chase, wins a match with a 129?! You must be joking.

Does Billy have a center on his roster besides Yao? And please tell me it isn't Nene, whose testicles fell off before the first supplemental.

The downside for the Mexican is that his low output appears to have handed the scoring title to
Ticket, who uses that tie-breaking advantage to lower his magic number for the regular season crown to two.

Good stuff.

Ticket says
Hmmm. E-Team's reminder removes my favorite source of paranoia besides pharmaceutical residue found in water for among many things, brewing coffee.
Supposing Hammer had a center besides Bosh (like Panty he doesn't) or Bosh returned and he beat me, then M&M would be a game out and Ticket could not afford to lose to Swat or DBS the last week of the regular season...if the tied leaders in the standings had to split the stakes.
The higher scorer determines who the number one team is in such a scenario. But I do feel it takes something away from future races when the scoring leader locks in a tie breaker for the award for best record.
I don't believe anyone's split that award before. I'm not arguing the point, but a vote on changing that decision maker may be in order.
Our playoff system rewards who's best in shut down season-ie Pat Riley scouting college points instead of returning to MSG against the Knicks. That's why the playoff winner's take doubles that of the regular season's double crown winner.
On the other hand, and this is my point: That's just plain wrong.

Attention! If M&M ties Ticket for best record, he'll split the stakes, says Eric.

Excuse the interruption for a non-hoop social comment. E-Team takes his Dad and Ticket to see "12 Angery Men", a play seen by thousands at the Keller Auditorium. Similarities galore with Hoop Social.

It's a story about how impaired people triumph over apathy. Eric fails to check out a hearing device for his father in need, so Tom does that for him. The character most similar to Panty weeps as the play/season winds down. Ticket learns he attended the same NYC high school as the director, "John Boy" from "The Waltons" at the cast party. Like the fantasy baseball player Caps, the baseball fan on stage in real life doesn't know squat about how to play.

FYI- P4's started Ray Allen, not D. West.

Ticket says:
(18-19)Drive By Shooters 182-199 (21-16) P4 with Ray, not West.
Confirmed. West would play Wed. anyway. So (21-16) Swat & P4 eliminate DBS. Twenty for soon to be 20-17 E-Team's Ellis knocks out JRB. DBS & JRB lose playoff tie breakers.

P4 entered in match 36 lineups:

Scores

Drive By Shooters 182-199 P4
Suppose DBS had entered Okur in time to change to a win a one point loss to Hammer. He'd be two out instead of eliminated. A light upcoming week for the Germans with Panty and Bunglers before the final match with oncoming E-Team.

Bunglers 157-215 Swat
Match high?
Bungler's next opponent doesn't think so:

E Team 221-197 jrb
Back to back match hog's hot on the heels of the third and fourth seeds. Unlucky JRB-east, no doubt scouting for his next season's Thornton in the Final Four tourney, is cause for concern for his next opponent Swat.

Ticket 172-140 Hammer
AI breaks a finger, Mo Will. returns Sat. with KG's yellow belly. Had Bosh played for the check kiter, it would likely have closed the gap to one between the first two seeds. Bosh probably won't play for Hammer next vs M&M.

M&M 181-177 caps
M&M would've won by one had he not subbed Felton for Miller. Caps show he's a player, not a quitter, by removing his Outlaw for Wallace.
Next Caps tries to shake Ticket from his top perch two game cushion before the final week.

And 1 153-108 Panty
When And One plays next vs DBS, he'll root against his own image Okur. The games we play sometimes mirror our own lives.

Standings

Ticket 29-8, 7,312 pts

M&M 27-10, 7,114 pts

18-19, 6,554 pts DBS
