Hawks & Bux back up a day

No offense E but maybe Monta could chip in with a DNP tonight to keep Kontrol's score down.

Mauer ejects Clark Kent/Superman! Twin's catcher Joe's relative kicks Kurt Rambis out of a game in the town Mauer could do no wrong. The Minnesota coach was mistakenly taken for a defector to the Lakers.

Invaders think maybe people owe LeBron an apology-in seeing how bad this Cav team is w/out him who could blame him for taking his game somewhere it could be rewarded w/a ring??The remaining Cavaliers are a sad accumulation of role players...Jamison/Mo Williams and anyone else w/value must be traded immediately to begin the rebuilding process...

E Team says:

LeBron is a self-absorbed dipshit.

And yes, the Cavs are awful.

Hoop Social said...

Ticket looks for dipshit's teammates to light up Clips.
Howard,Gordon+Invader 126-81 Tix Deron,Wade,Bosh

Original Cavs were far better and still had as bad a record:
How's my memory Mark?

Jim Chones
Austin Carr
Bingo Smith
Jim Cleamons
Walt Wesley

E Team says:

I almost made a comparison between the current Cavs and the expansion version from 1970. Tom one-ups me by coming up with the starting lineup. Unbelievable. Was Bill Fitch the coach?

Hoop Social said...

Tom gets 2 of 5 -Walt Wesley a 7 footer was the leading scorer and started at center.. from Kansas he backed up Jerry Lucas the year before w/Royals..Bingo Smith 6-5 from Tulsa started along w/future Sonic John Johnson 6-6from Iowa... additionally John Warren 6-3 from St.Johns was the point guard There was also former Warrior from Drake 6-4 McCoy McLemore... Ohio state white guy 6-8 Larry Sorenson was added for fan approval..Wesley was backed up by Xavier's Luther Rackley...Cleamons was still at Ohio state/Chones at Marquette and Austin Carr was leading the nation in scoring at Notre Dame in 70-71 and yes Fitch coached them their first 8 or 9 seasons...

Hoop Social said...

Invaders wish to correct Westbrook tota-it is 46- Caps total is accurate at 201

Hoop Social said...

As for Melo-drama I'm sure you've read Nugget threat to trade Melo to Knicks if Nets don't plug leaks on negotiations to the press??This means the reports were accurate but Nuggets rookie GM and neophyte owner(son of real owner)felt backed into a corner and reneged on deal insisting late Monday night Nets absorb 4 yrs @ 28 million from Harrington's contract...There are rumors that agent Leon Rose(represents Melo and Hamilton) is pulling the strings of these marionettes....Melo can't afford not to sign the 3 yr. 65 million extension before next year's lock out which will lower pay scale parameters...

Hoop Social said...

Invaders add that as an aside to the proposed Nugget/Net/Piston deal as structured...Harris would be sent most likely to Blazers in deal for Batum and Miller..Nuggets see Lawson as their point guard of the future..I think Blazers should give Mills the job..

Ticket says
Wait. Jerry Chambers was an original Cav, not Jim Cleamons. Something tells me it was Larry Siegfried, the Celtic who only won five rings because bUCKEYE TEAMMATE hONDO pimped him to Cigar Red after Larry was cut by Cincy.

Fitch coached Nance,Sanders,Price,Daugherty and was it Wesley Person on the best Cav team-wise?

I count my 217 and a tie for the match high with LBJ owner/trasher.
I'll verify before insisting on recount.

Hoop Social said...

Ticket says
Ooops. There's Mark's answer. No Jerry Chambers on original Cavs? Who coached the Cavs in the late 80's?

Hoop Social said...

Tom Lenny Wilkens coached the Cavs in the late 80's taking over in '85 as I recallfrom a young George Karl who proceeded to Warrior job..No Jerry Chambers..he played for Lakers though..he went to Utah..other original Cavs were old Knick and former Providence teammate of Lenny Wilkens 5-11 white guy Johnny Egan-former Warrior and Tar heel Bobby Lewis..Cliff Anderson from St.Joe's and another old vet white guy and also former Knick from Wake Forest Len Chappel who shot old time sweeping hooks and long jumpers avoiding contact w/his wimpy 6-9 frame..all the other guys played little including Larry Mikan son of George....

Hoop Social said...

E Team says:

I wouldn't trade Andre Miller straight up for the spindly douchebag Devin Harris, let alone with Batum thrown in.

And I, like Mark, have Ticket's Match 23 total at 216.

Hoop Social said...

E Team says:

Dave, nice number going five-man. And that's with KonTroL going well above its average. Solid win.

Hoop Social said...

Tom the greatest Cav team coached by Wilkens won almost 60 in '88 or '89 I think and featured Tree Rollins... Nance..Sanders..Price and Ron Harper starting w/ a bench contingent of the illiterate but great Hot Rod Williams Phil Hubbard..ex Blazers Darnell Valentine(biggest thighs since Earl Campbell)and would be Governor Chris Dudley...also on hand little used long term Fitch/Wilkens favorite Craig Ehlo..

Hoop Social said...

Wilkens! How could I forget! Was he the last player coach, other than an enraged Bob Cousy suiting up once for the KC Omaha Kings (or Cincy Royals)?

Hoop Social said...

yes he was last player coach other than Cousy w/Kings-in the mid 60's a 26 year old Dave DeBushere was player coach of the Pistons before being traded to the Knicks...probably done to get him to quit his pitching career w/White Sox...

Hoop Social said...

Cousy played and coached KC/Omaha KIngs
