These are the prize payouts from last year; I see no reason to change anything:
(Seven paying members at $150.00 - $1,050.00)
League champion: $400.00 Match High pool: $200.00 Regular season champion: $100.00 Scoring titleist: $100.00 2nd place, playoffs: $100.00 3rd place, playoffs: $50.00 4th place, playoffs: $25.00 NIT Champion: $25.00 8th place finisher: Buys a round.
Hey wait, we got $50.00 left over. Did I forget something? And if not, what should we do with it? To the champion? Split between the two finals teams? Something for second place in the regular season? A little something for the sub-commissioners E Team (standings) and Ticket (schedule maintenance)? Beers?
And while we're on the subject, you guys might want to start thinking about squaring up, since I didn't collect any money on draft night. You should all be able to figure out what you owe by using the above info and the standings, the final version of which I shall send out presently.
Tom has a thing worked out with me over money he wasn't paid last year and the Germans may actually have some credit coming - I'll get that all squared away this week - but everyone else besides Mark needs to get in touch with the bursar's office (me).
Not worried about who wins but Kentucky has the better athletes this is just like the 2012 team except that squad of freshman won all year.I do think Calipari is a slimeball particularly his disingenuous lip service today denigrating one and done and advocating 2 year minimum stay in college-now what coach would that help most??one and done is unconstitutional and illegal restraint of trade and the right to work.It begs the question why should 16 year old Dominicans turn pro in baseball or European basketball and soccer players but not 18 year old American citizens??
Ticket says never mind. I am covered and am up 52 next year after 2015 entry fee of 150 if the song remains the same. Is Calipari the new Tarkanian? Are the pro auditors blind to programs that are too fast to figure out how players are paid? The Wildcats one of the seven crime families' cash cows? It all comes out in the wash...in 20 years. Then again, soup lines of indebted students may wipe greasy hands on a statue of the coifed Calipari in Lexington.
