Enter match 27 scores

I would like to echo Sean's statement of earlier...we need to revisit the DNP situation. I don't have a better suggestion to what we currently have, but like to hear if anyone else does. It shouldn't crush your chances to win, when a player not listed on the injury report at 3:45 on Monday shows up lame to the next match.

The recurring DNP issue thought to be dead rises from the ashes... It will never die as long as we are playing fantasy bbl and players have coaches.

It usually works great for the Mon-Thurs match period as typically you have two games and if your guy misses both well then that's likely a management error. Fri-Sun can really hurt.

I proposed long ago we go 7 man rosters. 7th guy gets in if there's a DNP. Maybe he gets knocked 10 points.

Also proposed an automatic score of like -5 points off your lowest scoring man or a fixed number like 15.

Those were my suggestions long ago and the league at least amended to what we do now which isn't too bad and adds a layer of shock / relief when you do / don't see your guy in the line-up.

Ticket likes 7th man idea. Wish I remembered Hans' idea. Being that P4 uses two less men on his roster, he might impurify his team with the long shunned supplemental pick. It is not like a deportable person receiving mail at your home address or having your passport with many trips to Pakistan.

Speaking of Americana and a long standing NBA tradition., Matt Barnes has been charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor, after police said he was involved in an altercation at Avenue, a bar in Chelsea.

Matt Barnes was charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor, after an incident at a club in New York. He denies the allegations and will answer them in court, his attorney says
"He was issued a ticket," attorney Alex Spiro said. "We deny the allegations and will answer them in court."

A related civil suit has been filed against Barnes and teammate DeMarcus Cousins in a New York District Court by two plaintiffs, Jasmine Besiso and Myrone Powell.

The lawsuit alleges that Barnes grabbed Besiso by her neck and began choking her at approximately 3 a.m. after a fight broke out in the VIP section of the club.

Cousins is alleged to have punched Powell in the face after Powell had come to help Besiso, while Barnes is alleged to have elbowed Besiso in the face, knocking her unconscious.

Cousins was cleared of any wrongdoing and will not face charges following an NYPD investigation that concluded last week.

Okay, here we go. The DNP thing once more. So enthusiastic about having this discussion again.

Is this Sean trying to find relief after leaving Lowry out of his lineup for two matches in favor of Malcolm Brogdon or Marcus Smart or whoever? I have a suggestion. Generally speaking, when you have an consistent, all-star-level performer healthy and ready to play, go ahead and put him in your lineup. Just a thought.

We have eight matches to play. How 'bout we get together for a beer after the season and discuss it then.

And yes, we're hearing about this because the Nitecaps have coughed up a 160 and have lost to the last-place Invaders. Going five-man didn't help, but XMan got a 20 from the Freak and was gonna lose this one anyway. Sorry to be such a buzzkill.

And the second-place Ticket, without the benefit of a DNP, is going to fall to Swat.

If it's any consolation, it's possible that nobody loses ground, because the damaged but determined E Team is giving the front-running P4 all it can handle.

Your welcome.

Dang. I meant "You're welcome." Sloppy.

Matt Barnes is a moronic douchebag. Cousins is a moronic douchebag who can actually play. But the incident in New York had nothing to do with basketball.

That it to say, your story has no news value whatsoever, Tom, but thanks.

League Office:

Here's some actual news.

While others are whining and crying and pulling their pud to the latest chapter of the endlessly fascinating Matt Barnes Story, the E Team posts a league-wide season high in blistering the first-place P4, 261-213, taking over second place in the scoring race and regaining third place in the standings in the process.

Swat catches Ticket with his pants down - and we know why - in a 208-179 upset that moves last year's NIT winner... oh wait, strike that... NIT runnerup into a tie for the last playoff spot.

The Invaders torch the five-man Nitecaps by 241-160, and Wingo wins his fifth in six, closing to within a game of playoff position with a 222-210 win over Kontrol.

Don't know how anyone would erase P4's four-game lead with eight to play, but everything else is up for grabs. And then there's the actual matches once the post-season gets underway. Anything can happen there. We know it because we've seen it.

All the entertainment you need, people. Right here. Take a day off. See you Friday.

I will repeat, Lowry is a 1, Irving is a 1 based on ESPN Player Rater, I played one over the other based on matchups and how they were trending for two matches (check it out yourself).

I have to play Smart, who is a 1/2, since every other 2 I have on my roster is either hurt or sucks (why did I ever listen to Laker Homer Dana about Clarkson over DBook).

I didn't bring the conversation back up, I merely addressed earlier in the season and was told no one in the league cares.

Now it does sound like an issue that needs to be brought back to the table when a player only has one game in a match period and DNPs. Especially with the trend in the NBA of the "player rest DNP" becoming so prevalent.

You can't say X-man lost because of a 20 due to his Freak going 5-man, I lost last Match to Wingo who got a 9 from his Butler, and we both went full strength.
