Not to repeat myself (Match 29 lineup post) but P4 has not put James Harden back in his lineup. That is very uncool.

Wow. The Fantasy Gods didn't wait long to weigh in on this one. Hans goes off on another of his Lost Weekend benders, neglecting to manage his squad for the second time this season, and Boogie Cousins get a bolt of lightning as punishment.

With Harden(42) and Gobert(39) on the bench and now DeMarcus out, maybe we should just put P4 in receivership and declare wins for each of their remaining opponents.

Ticket is losing to P4. Want to give me a win?

no Harden/Gobert or now Cousins bad year for P4 squad....so I when I was distracted most of last season I still managed to finish 5th with Eric's assistance contacting me periodically for lineup changes we should have set that up for Hans this season...too late for receivership

We need some sort of verbal commitment from Hans that he intends to stay engaged and competitive for the last six matches. And he needs to show up and make it now.

Send me my bill, i'm closing out.

...and yes, this is another example where a simple substitution would have worked. Like the last one and the one before that. I'll be riding shotgun with Hans.

Dave, the Wall DNP is a crappy way to lose a big match. I didn't deserve to win.

I'm also fine with a plan that addresses the DNP thing effectively, but we couldn't agree on one, so we're still living with the thing we implemented last time around. All of us.

And Dave, not to quibble, but I'm not sure what "simple substitition" you have in mind. Assuming we had agreed at some point to daily substitutions, hardly a small matter, who would you have played in Wall's place? Curry was already in your lineup and your other two PGs, DSmith2 and Dunn had played Friday night. As it happens, Dunn's Bulls go again tomorrow night, but he's not expected to play.

Not that simple at all. Like the majority of the scenarios we've seen. That's a fact.

We're running one of the best down-the-stretch races we've ever seen. How about everybody gives it their best shot and we address the freaking DNP issue when the season is over?
We're all playing under the same rules.

Ben Simmons, Phi PF, PG...or could we not agree on this either?

E Team:

Dave, you are correct. Simmons has a second game in the match period. There are starting to be more Sunday games now that the NFL season is over and you would have lucked out in this particular case. But we've seen that this kind of in-match substitution has failed the majority of the time throughout the season. It would not have helped Sean when his Kyrie didn't go a couple weeks ago. Is that fair?

We need a plan that succeeds more dependably than that. We should figure it out when the season is over.
