not sure what to say about supp. I have panic among my students for midterms and papers with the compounding problem caused by turn it dot org midnight deadlines and an onslaught of early college application essays I did MIT/Cal Tech last weekend and Oregon last night for the Nov. 1 deadline. Therefore I can't draft tonight and Thursday it would be after 8pm which is sacrificing my UCLA student who procrastinated on study for her 3 miderms, 2 of which are take home due Friday morning at 9am, in other words it's not a good week for me to draft tonight or tomorrow..Perhaps Eric shares my teacher/student empathy
The idea of using new system week 8 has merit because no team would have the advantage of schedule to benefit from the lessening of dnp dangers. I still favor draft Sunday during football 11-noon my students know they can't mess with my football I had one student from Bishop O'Dowd (the De La Salle of Oakland sportswise)after 3 last Sunday because the 49ers and Raiders sucked simultaneously
I can go 8 PM Thursday if New York boy Tom can handle the late hour, but we'd need people weighing in to confirm pretty quickly, and I'm a little skeptical about that. If that doesn't happen, I say we find a time for a Sunday supp and if guys can't make it, they can restock with whatever's left in the 24 hours prior to the 4 PM Monday deadline or do without the Platoon Backup Regimen until such time as they have enough guys on their rosters to make it work. We can't go indefinitely without full squads.
If someone would like to propose a different time, and soon, fine.
Otherwise, we get five votes for 11:00 and it's on. I think we already have four, but people need to speak up.
Those that can't participate can conduct their own supplemental, following the appropriate draft order, between the end of the real supp and the 4 PM lineup deadline on Monday. We get to full rosters and can then decide whether to A) go right to the platoon system or B) wait until Match 8 with a straight up and down vote.

I think the let's do it even if there aren't 8 is ok for Sunday with the idea they can take who's still available. There are plenty of players out there but it does give an unfair advantage to teams using new system if others don't have enough healthy players or don't post lineups twice weekly

Sean. Relax. Yes, we could've drafted tonight, but clearly it would've been four or five of us at best. I feel ya, but we can't force guys to do what they're supposed to do. It's like herding fucking squirrels.
Now we're official. We go Sunday at 11:00. You don't show up, you pick up your guys afterward. You don't do that, whatever. Maybe some guys are backing up every position by Match 6 and you're not. Whatever.
And Dave, here's your standings: We've played four matches. I think Mark is undefeated. That means nobody is more than four games out of first. Just kidding. I'll get the thing up and running this weekend.
