Invaders would like to expand on the language discussion the most common foreign language in the NBA is French-there are 10 players from France plus Haitians/Africans/Swiss/Canadians(required to learn it in school etc..)Spanish is most likely second w/4 Argentines/2 Mexicans and several Dominicans from NY)biggest surprise would be 6 Turks in the league plus likely 7 Serbian speakers(3 Serbs-2 Montenegrins and 2 Slovenians)
There are actually 3 Mexicans-E's Ayon/Najera and Earl Watson who's mother is Mexican and plays for the National team
add Vasqyez to the list of Spanish speakers from Venezuela-there 4 Portugese speaking Brazilians-some of the Argentines like Ginobli and Scola likley also speak Italian as does Sefelosha from Switzerland and of course Kobe does which give us half a dozens Italian speaking players-2 catalan speaking Gasholes as Sean calls them and one lonely Czech speaker in Jan Vesely-the second from his nation to play here Jiri Welsh being the first-
The Gasol Bros. speak several languages and Pau plays the piano. They speak Spanish when they party. Spanish is the most common by far-Kobe speaks too...he most likely uses phrases like: "usted sabe que usted quiere" and other forceful sexual terms.

Invaders did include Villanueva under "several Dominicans" which would also include Al Horford and Francisco Garcia to name 2 others but I forgot Carmelo's Spanish connection to Puerto Rico-Earl Watson played for Mexico because his mom was Mexican-I don't know if she had game enough for the women's national team-we forgot that Luol Deng speaks Dinka(he's from Manute's tribe) as well as Egyptian where his father escaped to for several years before emigrating to London-Luol came to the states at 16 I believe..
There's also a 5th Portugese speaker besides the 4 players from Brazil-Ryan Gomes' family is originally from the island of Cape Verde
