Invaders announce we've got a unique DNP situation that no one could have seen coming-The Pacer/Bulls game is postponed due to bad weather-there's an open date tomorrow but as of now they haven't rescheduled-if that holds then The Germans(George) and B's(West) will get unfortunate DNPs

Invaders have found 3 more DNPs bringing the total to 5 the most I can ever recall in one match period-I neglected to see that GHill was in Wingos carry over lineup-also Cousins though reinstated by the Kings didn't travel tonight to Portland-Rudy Gay didn't play tonight for personal reasons-so for those scoring these things 4 of these were clearly unavoidable DNPs while Cousins was a probable DNP-this doesn't mean anything about the new rule as I see it...the fact is the new rule couldn't help this match period simply because the league played no Monday games on Christmas eve and a light schedule Christmas day which usually is a heavy schedule as is Wednesday...this is clearly a scheduling anomaly-we can talk about the inequality of scheduling big name teams on Christmas I suppose but we need a few weeks of normal scheduling to see how this works

Ticket says thanks for the prompt updates and a mild mannered response to the trial of the second chance rule, which shouldn't be on trial.
Tom Invaders agree it shouldn't be on trial but we have the new rule in place now so I don't see the need to argue forcefully at this point-I was the one that endorsed this after you so everyone knows where I stand... let's just give the new rule some time to work and if you or Eric want to vent over this then that certainly is your right as a free thinking individual-I'm now trying to take a peripheral approach now that we've voted this in sucessfully-I see this as my commish/PM role now-this 5 DNPs in one match period is a complete fluke and in no way says anything meaningful about the 2nd chance rule..

And my sympathies to whatever poor, blameless soul drafted Deron Williams, who just destroyed another coach, another team, and another fantasy season. Who could possibly have seen that coming?
I think I agree with Eric. If there is a way those guys affected by the canceled game can get a late call, they should.
Regarding D. Will. I found it ironic that he was just quoted as saying what a great system Jerry Sloan had and how well it worked for him.

What a jackass. The inflated expectations of the Nets are another thing that is crazy. Why did anyone think they would be good in the first place?

Invaders confirmed w/Tom that there is ample reason for a late call so Pacers will play back to back Friday/Saturday...the Friday game will count for the Germans against E w/George and for both the Wingos and B's for Hill and West-the Saturday game will count toward Match 17 scores...the other finals stand so Invaders beat Swat and Caps beat Ticket-E will then lose to Germans and B's will likely still win against Wingos since they're up by 30
