The E Team just returned from Russell St. Barbecue - get the special side, creamy winter greens with cheese, while it's still on the menu - where all celebrated the daughter's 18th birthday. I now officially have an adult child. (Can you believe that, Tom?)

Ticket congratulates E Team for beating his father at years of remaining married. I am reading The Ed Lucas Story "Seeing Home" about a blind broadcaster for the Yankees. Heraised three children with the sister of a switchboard operator who refused to date him after the first date when he revealed he is blind.
Lucas nearly caused a revolt when the Seton Hall Pilots hoops team protested his inability to enter the game past security with one of the first SeeingEye dogs.Lucas 50 yars of baseball writing under his belt after being hit between the eyes by a batted ball at age 12. It ruined what little vision he had from being born premature. His parents made it possible but could not measure up to the present Bartels parents.
