Invaders are playing Howard/Cousins/Gay/Derozan/Lillard and Ish
First Jeff the P4 elder, then the too long Laker dynasty buster Moses Malone, now Ziggy. Saw the Lets Dance tour at the Taco Dome where I once thrived scalping Sonic tickets when the Collisseum became the Key. Like the alien in The Man Who Fell To Earth, Blazer fans "occupied" the Taco Dome more loudly than Sonic fans. That made us "Heroes."

Feeling a little sad today with the passing of David Bowie. RIP Ziggy Starburst.

Wingos saw Bowie on that same tour, but a raod trip down to the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum. Check out last year's documentary "20 Feet From Stardom" about backup singers, for some great clips of a young David Bowie doing Young Americans, with the young backup singer Luther Vandross.
Wingos stand pat with their weakened (and weekend) lineup, due to their erratic bench.

XMan, Tom posted (above) a text I sent him at around 4:50 when I realized I hadn't replaced my weenieman ADave. Didn't see any results or anything. Was at work. Up to you to approve the move.
E Team caught the news about the Thin White Duke before turning in last night. Never saw the man live, but did have a singular concertgoing experience with his protege Iggy Pop at Club Foot in Austin, circa 1981 or so.
Three favorite singles: Hang onto yourself (Ziggy Stardust), Panic in Detroit (Aladdin Sane), Stay (Station to Station).
