Two matches to play and every carbon-based entrant in the league still has a shot at glory. (Does anybody really want to play the Invaders or Wingo in the playoffs right now?) Can't ask for more than that.
So the bonehead Cousins gets his 18th technical. That's nice for the E Team. Will be watching the wire for a rescinsion. Is that a word?

League Office:
I suddenly can't remember what happens with Kontrol in the playoffs. His scheduled opponent gets a bye? But what if the thing finishes, say, in 7th place? Why would the No. 6 team get a bye while the No. 5 finisher has to play? That doesn't make any sense. Does somebody actually have to play Kontrol? And what is Kontrol at that point? The average of all scores or just the other NIT contestants?
Weird. Help me out, people.
E Team:
And can somebody tell me why the Blazers haven't picked up Terrence Jones? The guy was averaging 11 and 6 with the Pelicans and gets waived. He grew up five minutes from the Moda Center. Plus he's dirt cheap. They need a PF and this guy is better than Meyers Leonard will ever be. Please. So that they can keep Tim Quatermine? Who?
