I think the protocol has always been to start a series whenever the contestants are ready to go, regardless of the status of any other series. In other words, the championship series will start whenever the finalists are decided. They don't wait on the outcome of the NIT championship, for God's sake. Who even cares about that? (Besides me and my quest for the immense prestige and $25 purse, that is.)
Speaking of which, it should probably be noted that P4, who has been mired deep in last place all season long, has a perfectly good chance to upset the E Team and finish in fifth place. That's quite a rally, really.
I shall try to report any partial score on the classic Invader-Wingo Game 3, since Mark is doing some sort of marijuana inspection tour in NoCal and says he'll be off the grid. Did I hear him right? Off the grid indeed. I wonder if he knows he doesn't have to stay under the radar. I think weed is legal down there now.
