Ticket says
Looks like we should back up the supplemental draft time to 4:15 since I need to know who tardy Nitecaps will leave me for the race from last place.

E-Team takes my x-Jam. That will guarantee his second title.

Commendations to Invaders for steady work in a vacuum with nary an entry by JRB and P4 & Swat talking it up like the mummies.

Bosh-5
KG-4
Scola-4
Gal-3
Wade-2
Deron-1

Swat sez:

Hi all, sorry I missed sup', was in the friendly skies my way to PHX.

Went Saturday to see my Ducks win a successful Civil War and punch their ticket to the national championship, and then got to back it up by seeing Steve Nash Sunday vs. the Wizards do something that has only been done five times before (once by Nash), have a perfect line from the field with 17 assist in a track meet.

Looks like a battle with the Invader, at least my whole team showed up this match!

E Team says:

The E Team leaves firepower on the pine (Boozer 42, Sjax 42, Billups 38) and may fail to derail the robotic KonTroL for the second time.

Only a big second half from the girlish Aldridge can help me now.

Partial scores Vegas Ticket 183+KG P4 164+Paul E 158+LBJ Kontrol???

Invaders are upset about Hornets being taken over by the league-this could be a way fot the owners to follow through w/their threat to contract the league to force salry concessions from the players union..The story down here is that the Hornets were about to be sold to Larry Ellison who's upset he lost out on Warriors and wants to move team to San Jose as direct competiton-Stern and the league were'nt going to let that happen-there's an out clause in the Hornet lease tied to attendance figures that Hornets aren't meeting by January deadline which explains timing of league takeover..Kansas City is said to be another potential destination-it's obvious despite Stern's stated intention to find local ownership the area can't support an NBA team

E Team says:

Hey, it'd be cool if there were a place to post results for this match.

And here's a FBBL trivia question. What player, drafted in the 12th round in our league, currently has a better fantasy average than Chris Bosh, Danny Granger and Steve Nash?

Hoop Social said...

E Team says:

Mark, LBJ already went on Monday. I think I'm at a precarious 189 against the Machine.

Any chance Seattle will make a play for the Hornets?

Hoop Social said...

Partial score-Nitecaps 203 JRB 162+Duncan Invaders 233 Swat 181+Rondo Sean needs Rondo to do better than Love's 52 to win this one-Invaders aren't sure who was drafted where in lower rounds-surely Love didn't go that low? He's my guess for leading scorer in fantasy points right now..not Blake Griffin/-how about your Felton???

Hoop Social said...

Sorry I missed it on Heat-I put Wade and Bosh in for Tom but not Lebron for you guys..I've heard nothing about Seattle due to lack of arena improvements(meaning new one ultimately)KC has Sprint Arena built in 'o7 ready for tenant and San Jose has HP where Sharks are now playing

E Team says:

Oh, and hey. How about me Patty Mills? I've been saying since last year he'll be their starting point guard within two years. Future of the Blazers? Not Greg Oden. Patty Mills.

Hoop Social said...

I went to several St.Mary's games when he was here before going down against Gonzaga and he looked great..why was Armon johnson ahead him in the first place??

Hoop Social said...

E Team says:

The word is that Nate likes Johnson more because of his size. Mills is on the team because Paul Allen loves him. I'm a huge Patty fan. The guy's got amazing handle and Aaron Brooks speed. And he can shoot. I don't care what the dipshit Jerryd Bayless does in Toronto or anywhere else; every minute he's not in Portland increases the chances my boy Mills will be on the court.

And yes, Mark, Raymond Felton. 33 FPPG. Better than Bosh. Better than Granger. Better than Nash.

Hoop Social said...

It's an odd coincidence that the Blazers have the lone New Zealander in Marks and one of the only 3 Aussies in Mills on the team together-now that Jawai is no longer in the league Dave Andersen of New Orleans and Bogut are the only other Aussies I'm aware of...

Hoop Social said...

Since we don't have a score site I'll report the first final here-my Invaders 233 Swat 202 Invaders(Howard-33/PGasol-49/Granger-37/Nash-43/EGordon-38/Beasley-33)Swat(Harris-34/Curry-33/Durant-38/Love-52/AJefferson-24/Rondo-21)I'm not aware of how to set these sites for each post up-Tom will check in from Vegas soon I suspect...
