Father-Son II -- Hi-Lo in Hilo -- whatever the pundits call it, the biggest story in sports this quiet week is the Hawthorne Wingos vs. the Ball Don't Lie Kahunas. The recalcitrant Wingos, resurrected in Match 11 by one Tyreke Evans, set their line-up for this Oedipal struggle as follows: D. Howard;
D. Nowitzki; R.Gay; T. Evans; M. Conley; T. Lawson.

If you guys are really in Hilo Invaders would like to say that he lived several months there many moons ago-I used to live at the top of Wainuenue near boiling pots-I tried to get a job at KPUA radio(where the morning drive time show was usually done in pidgin) after filming for the Big Island ended-we filmed at the black sand beach at Kalapana(which I hear has been reforming after being covered by an eruption)and would commute to the Parker ranch near Waimea and Kona beaches for other locations-the Puna butter was the best smoke in Hilo then-all this Hawaii stuff is sure to stir some comments from Eric...

I can't say how impressed I am with the scorekeeper & wannabe pidgin speaker who breathes life into this blog. Wingo adds color too. Don Cornelius, founder of Soul Train, bites the bullet. It makes a conveyor belt worker like me these days glad to be around for this time in history.
