The acquisition of Marcus Teague gives the Nets 3 guys with a sibling in the NBA. Besides Jeff T., Brook and Robin Lopez , Miles and Jason Plumlee. Reminds me of The 5. Jones brothers Caldwell, Rich, Major, Charles and who Mark? Did they all play in the NBA? Like your conversation with David Rivers in Greece about players from the US playing elsewhere because of a lack of fair trade among owners and agents, it seems insider influence may have reached an all time high.
There were 7 Jones brothers 6 of whom were basketball stars at Albany State a black school in Georgia but only 4 made it to the NBA Wilbert/Caldwell/Major and Charles a fifth Oliver was cut by the Cincy Royals in the mid 60's and became coach of Albany State.I don't know the other 2 brothers names but 6 of them ranked 1-6 on Albany State's all time rebounding list at one time but I don't know if that would still be true
Rich Jones was not related as far as I knowhe played at Illinois and transferred to Menphis State he was a 6-7 small forward who could score in the original ABA

Wade isn't eligible for his Thursday numbers-last year we instituted the 2nd chance rule to cut down on a rash of DNPs but we all agreed that when a DNP occurs a 2nd time in the same match period then that's the last chance for stats regardless of whether there's a 3rd game in the match period or not.This idea was tested by Tom last year and voted down by a majority

Interesting. Invaders' top three - Love, Aldridge and Cousins - and the E Team's top three - Durant, ADave and Duncan - both finish at 135. But Gay's pig-out 54 and my shitty Magicians leave the two teams tied at 207 with Lawson to go. (Oladipo goes 40-plus tonight. Thanks a lot.)
Here's hoping someone pokes Lawson in the eye during the shootaround.

Only Nater and Blatche don't match in color but both were soft defenders who could score. Nater took over for Bill Walton who may have played with the fastest man in the NBA Randy Smith whhen Buffalo moved to San Diego. I recall Tom Chambers on Bill Walton's Clippers, who did not care for me patting his shoulder. On the other hand Clipper Bill tossed me his wrist band, which was given to Andy And One when he won the PDXFBL title the invincible Invaders should have no problem acquiring despite his Gay turning into Klay.
