Dunno how you win a title against a team that had just beat you three straight on your own court, but the 1938 Harlem Rens beat the best white team Osh Kosh three weeks after losing their leading scorer who died from a heart attack. Dunno about the validity of Easter, but there's a hoops version of the ressurrection.

Congrats to the Invaders on a surprise trip to the Finals. Should be a good one. We either get a repeat champion - after a 14-year wait - or a brand new one.
And condolences to the Germans, who held first place for much of the season, but clearly were trending downward as the season went on.
Both championships are best of three, not double jeopardy. Consolation rounds are one match only.
