E Team the better team depends on Butler to outscore Ticket's Jordan and Horford because of his broken Brow. Surprised he stuck with MC Willy instead of living with the wealtier Irving-ton. Result: MC about twice as good as Irving.

Mark, a guy who screams "boza" and sells a strong Near Beer in Istanbul who is the protagonist of Orhan Pamuk's latest bestseller, "A Strangeness In My Mind."

Delete "who". Pamuk won the Nobel Prize for "Snow" and "My Name Is Red."

"Black" is the term used for re-selling tickets on the street, according to a psychologist from East India. Amazing how similar life on the street is in "developing" and "developed" economies.

Maybe your Berkley knish slinger in the seventies was right about the item bought from a street vendor being holier than bought elsewhere. At least to "boza" sellers, scalpers, etc.

A fact about the Wingos not generally known in these sports-related circles is that Li'L Hawthorne has been a part of a food booth at the Oregon Country Fair since the late 70's (and the Eugene Saturday Market back in the day) that sells egg rolls. At the OCF we were friends with the guys who ran the knish booth "Knish Bliss" and we used the same skin product for our multi-ethnic entrees (made by Shanghai Co. on old Division St and still there on foodie Div now). If one or the other of us would run out of skins we would buy more from the other. Knish Bliss eventually shut down sometime after 2000, but I ran into Bob more recently when I ended up hiring him (now a lawyer) to represent my littlest Hawthorne (and brief HoopSocial flinger)Quinn in connection with a U of O party zone arrest a few years ago.

One can only imagine the richly colored corners or Wingo's secret psychedelic history. Little doubt he was in attendance at the legendary Vortex Fest in Estacada, so as to keep him away from Dick Nixon's visit to Portland. My dad took my sister, but I begged off. Think I had a baseball game.

And oh, hey. Did any of you guys, like me, completely miss the movie Sicario, which came out some time last fall? Freakin' AWESOME! Shadowy American task force takes on a Mexican drug cartel. Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, and an intriguing young British chica, Emily Blunt. Directed by the guy who's gonna do the Blade Runner remake. Same cinematographer that did most of the best Coen Bros (Fargo, O Brother, Lebowski).

There are some dubious plot points, but this thing KICKS ASS. The opening scene alone will make you shit your pants. For you locals, it's at the Laurelhurst. 4:25 and 9:15. Beer, big screen. Just go. Sean, Ryno: you hearin' me?

Also forgot to mention: Anthony Davis is the biggest wussbag in the NBA. He banged into some chairs saving a ball? You go on adrenaline until the game's over then get an ice bath. Freakin' wimp. Did somebody say the new Marcus Camby? And people wonder why the talent-rich Pelicans are so shitty? It's because the team is full of guys just like him. Tyreke? Eric Gordon? You think these guys are going to play hurt? Ever?

Gotta see Sicario. Thanks for the tip Eric. Wingo hires a lawyer to defend his pride and joy for a football fanfest gone wrong reminds me of the time my Grandad who sold the cops squad cars in Queens got me and my cohorts freed from an arrest related to a bonfire on the beach built with purloined lawn furniture.

Prediction: El Chapo's rise to Forbes 100 richest dirtbags will be released just in time for his trial.
Little Caesar's Edward G. Robinson comes out of hiding to retaliate for being smeared in the press. El Chapo gets caught because he wants to make a movie about himself. Vanity still the downfall of criminal masterminds.

Wow, Swat has been on the short side of plenty of these high scoring affairs, as indicated by our points against this year, nice to see a comeback win.
