The League Office offers apologies for the delayed update. It was a combination of joyous holiday celebration and disheartening developments in the sporting world. My E Team can't win, my Blazers can't win, and now, sans Derek Carr, my Raiders probably aren't going far. Very sad.
Perhaps sadder is our collective inability to stop the P4, which turns back Kontrol 217-212 with only five guys. If Hans is gonna get 40-plusses from people like Batum and IThom, I fear for our future. Sort of like having a grotesque carnival barker as president.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Lower Division puts some lively heat on the frontrunners.
Wingo gets his first taste of cash with a 232-206 win over the E Team, which loses its 3rd straight.
The Nitecaps send Ticket to his second straight loss, 224-196.
And Swat downs the Invaders, who get 68 from Westbrook but sub-25 from three others, 213-199. That's the second straight match where the highest individual score on the board went for a losing cause (Cousins 73 in Match 15).
