Invaders will go with Kaman/West/Granger/Williams/Gordon and Ellis 6th vs. Blazers on Friday-Warriors currently have only 8 available players-one of whom Raja Bell is playing w/a fractured wrist! What a great trade him and a Serbian 3pt. specialist for Jackson!!!
Invaders would like to inform Shitslingers Ginobli is out tonight and most likely will miss his first game for match 8-at least Gasol and Lewis are back
Since I mistakenly reported match 3 as the time I confused #7 Shit & #8 McCatharsis it read:
In match 3 Ticket actually beat MCCRAP 175-162
But DBS actually beat Shit 154-150
I reported MCCRAP beating DBS and Ticket beating Shit.
November 16, 2009 2:59 PM
The original report was correct. Match 5 correction is in present standings. Go to older posts to verify this. So DBS lost In match 3 to MCCRAP 162-154.
Invaders seems to be taking responsibility for other teams. Don't be such an E-Team. If you need something to do, verify all scores for each team and compare it to the schedule. Otherwise I'll get around to it.
Very well put E...But if the teams can't contribute enough as to put in a healthy lineup or even post an unhealthy lineup, as to aid the commissioner and/or opponent as to who they are playing, without scrolling through 1500 words on ABA trivia...that is a reflection of the league itself. Further more...I want a $50 discount for the wall in my cell I have had to dedicate to charts attempting to track the league commissioners retraction, correction, retraction, clarification, apology, castgate and finally clarification...if that's what you call it. We've dealt with inactive teams in the past. I know where the schedule is...I know that I have to look back in the blog to hunt down prior lineups. I'm just saying. I SHOULDN"T HAVE TO. When I go to place my lineup, I want to automatically see who I'm playinga. I want to see what the standings are. I want to see prior scores. I found time to post lineups, update box scores (on a daily basis) and accurate standings while maintaining a full time job while in this position. I'm not asking for all of this but 1 for 4 and you could be batting fifth for the Giants. I'm not sayin'...I'm just sayin' Get in contact with your inactive teams and have a face to face with the commissioner. Remember commish...you work for owners.
Invaders-It's the broken/dysfunctional/frustratingly fun league analogy that brings all those ABA memories flooding back.Sorry to bother you w/them Dave.I do wish Eric could get these guys to take care of their lineups though.Dave you did a great job last year and I guess Tom's style of meandering intellectually away from the topic at hand is contagious.
E Team will stop the Blitzkrieg with this stout line...
LeBron, VC, D.Lee, Rondo, Aldridge, S.Jax
Match 8 Special The E Team will challenge all comers to a little 2nd Stringer Tourney. Five bucks. Winner take all. Payable at the first supplemental draft a week from Sunday.
Hey Mark- It's not the ABA chatter that gets to me. It's the lack of information partnered with misinformation that takes a toll on the fragile state of my so called mind. Good Luck! My team has been down the last couple of matches so I look for a bounce back weekend from them.
Note to P4- You have clinched a playoff spot(3 slot in NIT)...rest starters through all-star break
Invaders-Ben Gordon replaces injured Kevin Martin-it's Deron Williams-Jazz point guard-I've been putting his first name since 2nd match and stopped last match thinking everybody knew by now.He sat 2 matches ago.Missed your 2nd team challenge E maybe on Monday.
When LeBron led off with 58, I must confess, I had a slight twinge of anxiety that the Krautrek would be derailed. Then VC with 40. Mayo with a 16. P4 going down. Severe depression.
But, things are looking happy and smiley now. P4 with a 174-165 lead. Nash vs. D. Lee for all the marbles....
McCarthyists...... Where do I post my match #2 line-up? I'm leaving in my match 1 roster- Kobe-SG D. Harris-PG A. Jefferson-C P. Pierce-SF M. Beasley-PF J. Kidd- SG

Also, I've yet to count Terry in any DBS entry.

E- Great group of second stringers. Why don't you wait until your first stringers start producing some W's before you run any smack.
Hey Mark...who is the Williams in your lineup? Gus? Hotrod or maybe Sweet Lou?
I don't have the rosters handy
Thanks
E Team says:
Dave, if I had made one sound decision in the first six rounds, I might be talking shit. As it is, I'm just looking like shit.
But admit it, you're afraid of my second unit.
That is factually correct, E.
Invaders is that Ben Gordon in your lineup?
Thanks

Fearing for the well-being of my tender rookie on the road in Dallas, E Team pulls Tyreke (48) and goes with the steady Rondo (19).
Also impressive was the strong showing from Aldridge (20) against the powerful Warriors. Jesus, that game sucked ass.
Somebody please shoot me now.
