Here are the scores for match 3 Ticket 194 JRB 184 Ticket(Hibbert-23/Scola-31/KG-33/Joe John-32/Wade-29/Deron Will-46)JRB(Duncan-24/Josh Smith-28/Melo-39/Kobe-30/Evams-38/David West-25)
Eric-it took a lifetime but now the Giants/Warriors/Raiders/A's and 49ers have all done it-Even Cal won NCAA before I knew what basketball was..they estimate there were a million people in SF for the parade today...
P4 is correct-I missed one on Brook Lopez.P4 214(Paul-45/Iggy-26/Wallace-32/Dirk-51/Lopez-33/Griffin-27/)Nitecappers-141(Westbrook-28/Martin-22/Roy-23/Blatch-33/Rose-35/Amare?)-abestos removal at the garden has us waiting on Knicks..In Eric's case I believe he missed my later post swapping Horford for Green as Invader's 6th man...
Invaders thank P4-those rosters you posted started me thinking about the upcoming supplemental-I'd like to change my vote to taking the 2 players originally planned-I see at least a dozen players out there that need to be owned in this league..
Invaders calculate that Swat has offically lost to Kontrol-even w/out Amare Kontrol is 1062/6=177 beating 175 by Swat(Rondo-33/Crawford-20/Durant-26/Love-28/Jefferson-36/Milsap-32)
Mark, I had your Gordon at 36, not 40, but I could be wrong. Double check that.
The first major league game I ever saw was at Candlestick, around '72. Al Oliver fouled a Ron Bryant pitch into the seats down the third-base line and I correctly anticipated a guy in the aisle behind me dropping the ball, which I grabbed. How 'bout that? First major league game.
In another of my early trips to the Stick, I saw Willie Mays, Willie McCovey and Ken Henderson homer in the same game. Henderson, of course, later played with my boyhood idol Dick Allen, the greatest player not in the Hall of Fame.
Eric-Gordon's line was 40(23 points/4 reb/11 assists/2 steals)...so final is offically E 224 Invadrs206...Stoudemire goes for 28 last night in Chicago so final score is P4 213 Nitecaps 168 also Kontrol defeats Swat 183-175..Swat falls to 0-3 -looking at the first choice in Sunday's free agent draft-P4 climbs to 3-0-E and Kontrol are 2-1 and the rest of us are 1-2...Eteam is high match point winner...
Eric-Mays couldn't have played in a '72 game for the Giants-'71 was his last year-he was sent out to pasture in New York w/Mets in sad trade for mediocre knuckleball reliever Charlie Williams before that season. He retired in '73 after platooning in CF for the Mets for 2 seasons- in '73 Series against the A's he dropped a routine fly ball and fell down trying for another one-a sad sight for the greatest player ever(in my opinion)In fact Ken Henderson or Bobby Bonds played CF in '72-Bonds was the fastest guy in the league in those days-that's great to get a foul ball your first game-my first game was '65 or '66-didn't get a ball until the late 70's against Atlanta-Niekro was pitching-got a batting practice ball in Cincy in '78 on one of my stadium tour summers..
Eric-I saw Allen-who truly was a great player-in his last season in the majors as a DH for the A's-he wore Wampum instead of Allen on the back of his jersey w/the number 60 as a tribute to his senior year in high school in Wampum,Pa.he was released before the all star break when he was caught in the locker room changing to leave during the 5th inning of a game he wasn't playing in while on the road playing the Royals
And yes, perhaps it was '70 or '71 that I saw my first MLB game. When was the last white Henderson with the Giants? I believe he went to the White Sox in '73, Allen's second year there.
I've emailed these standings. Sorry if my hand-hewn formatting doesn't hold up. If someone would care to copy it and clean it up using actual tabs and stuff like that, be my guest. (Also, I've forgotten how to post using my own name instead of "Hoop Social." Perhaps one of you geniuses could remind me how to do that. Thank you.)

Wow. The late kick from my Warriors - mostly Monta's 59 - propels the E Team to a 224-202 win over the Bay Area-based Invaders.
Something better than a 17 from Granger might've helped the CyberCommish.
And hey, nice job by your Giants, Mark. I enjoyed that.
