E Team says:

Hey. Who's in for the 2 PM supplemental? (I'll create a separate post for this.)

This is it, people. Last chance to stock up for the stretch run.

At three minute intervals, starting at 2 PM sharp, it goes: 'Slinger, McCarthy, Ticket, Invaders, DBS, E Team, Paula Creampie, Germans.

Chop and shop.

E Team says:

Make it four straight for the Deutschlanders, who down the 'Slinger by 212-163.

Back on track, the Shooters snap a two-match slide and further postpone the Invaders' expected playoff push with a 219-158 beating.

The E Team, notching it's fifth MHS in the last 10 matches, wins its sixth straight, 240-154 over the five-man McCarthyists.

And incredibly, Ticket reaches the clubhouse with a 143 but still has a chance against whatever Dave's team is called, a group that's at 99 with Bosh to go.

Wow.

Knowing in advance that this is Super Bowl Sunday, is there a reason the supreme rulers of the league didn't schedule this in the morning???

I will be attending a Super Bowl event. But will attempt to handle business from one of those crazy space aged phones.
If I am unable to create time for this than I would like to reserve the right to pick from whats left.
I will be dropping two players.

Let's stop this recycling crap. What sucks about these sup drafts, especaily the lasat one, is there aint nothin left. Seriously, if your deep a any possition drop one of those players and sweetin the Sup pot. There aint shit availible except for maybe a 23 or 24 layin around.

Only 10 matches togo. TIME TO MAKE A MOVE! Grow some balls and drop your excess depth and try to get a solid 6-7 man team for the playoff run.

I'm willing to drop 1 or 2 of my 3 30+ power forwards, if anyone else has the balls to drop some excess depth in the 1,2,or even 3 possition.

Shit, half of you wont even bother with this. LOL, coming from a guy who just logged on!

Shooters...out!

I just sent out the Match 30 Standings via email.

The last unreported score is another dramatic, come-from-behind job by the Nitecaps in a 152-143 win over Ticket, the only team he could've beaten.

That gives the X-Man five straight wins and keeps him, improbably, just one game behind the Germans for the top spot, despite averaging a tepid 183.1 over the last eight.

Not to be missed is the absolute deterioration of the Nitecaps' once-commanding scoring lead, which has now shrunk to 22 points over the fourth-place E Team.
The Germans and Shooters have also moved into point blank range, leaving the top four teams separated by 43 points after 30 matches.
Don't know if we've ever seen anything quite like that before.

But the story here may be less about Dave's recent struggles than about his resilience. That's where championships sometimes come from, as we saw with And One last year.
Maybe more important than staying on the Germans' heels, the X-Man has kept his pursuers at bay. That includes the E Team, which has gained precious little ground on the Cream Team despite putting up 223.4 over the last eight, fully 40 points better than Dave over the same period.

With 10 to play, we may not see anyone break into the Top 4 or the Top 2, but we also know that the regular season crown and the scoring title have not been secured. And then of course, there's the stuff that can happen in the playoffs.

That means there's still some quality drama out there, people.
