Swat vs. P4 update:
P4: Paul 26, Pierce 19, Dirk 57, G.Wall 33, B. Lopez 43, Griffin 43 = 221
Swat: Harris 39, Curry 32, Durant 45, KLove 32 = 192 w/Bargnani to go (need 29+ to win)
Invaders have the same score as Swat 221-192 but Love had 44 and Jefferson 32...

I stopped updating lineups for JRB & P4 since Mark lists scores for each guy used. Look for lineups under previous match scores when a new lineup has not been entered.
About hoops history, I thought Landesberger and Mitch Kupchak played for the Bullets that lost to the Sonics in the Finals. Maybe Kupchak joined the Lakers with more fanfare. I also thought one of them was a Euro. How could I forget the Eastern bloc Sonic I mistook for a brother when listening to a post game show in Seattle? Detlef Schrempf guarded Pippen in the '96 Finals before both became over the hill Blazers.
Speaking of 60's NBA, Larry Siegried kicked the bucket at age 71. He would have died on the vine instead of winning five titles with the Celtics had Ohio St. teammate John hAVLICEK NOT ASKED Red Auerbach to give him a try out. He failed to make the Royals who drafted him (with Ohio St. teammate Jerry Lucas). So he played for George Steinbrenner's ABL squad that went tits up in Cleveland.
If I don't enter anmother post tomorrow, Happy Holiday Pilgrims. Let's celebrate the forced re-location of west and east Indians simultaneously!

Invaders suggest to Tom Mark Landesberger never played w/Kupchack on Bullets-he played w/Bulls and Lakers and I think Hawks-he could rebound but could do little else..both he and Kupchak are americans-Kupchack went to Morth Carolina as I recall...have a wonderful Thanksgiving everybody!!!

Another celebrity tale. I met Mitch Kupchak at a Yankee game back in '84. Some of my Oregon buddies had gathered in New York when one married his first wife, a New Jersey native.
We went to a Yankee game one night and sat behind the backstop and right in front of Kupchak and Mike O'Koren. (Hadn't they been teammates at Carolina?) I think Kupchak was from Jersey. Maybe O'Koren, too. We drank beers and shot the shit. Nice guys. I believe that was the Dale Berra-Bobby Meacham era. (God, I hated Bobby Meacham.)
Later that night, one of my retarded friends said something stupid to a cop on Eighth Ave and ended up spending the night in the slammer.
Invaders have much expperience drinking in hells kitchen along 8th and 9th ave.Meachem and Berra sucked but Dale played much better w/Pirates..Meachem was highly touted minor leaguer who bombed.Kupchack is from the Long Island suburbs and O'koren is from Jersey-he took coaching job under Eddie Jordan w/Nets and then Jordan took him down to Washington when he got Wizard job-probably was w/Sixers w/him last year as well-Both were Tarheels-the North Carolina schools have traditionally taken the top white guys from New York metro high schools dating all the way back '57 NCAA champion w/lots of Jewish guys-Larry Brown was one of those a couple years later..
To illustrate Invaders point star player from 57 Carolina champions was Lenny Rosenbluth-sound like a traditonal tobacco-road family pedigree??The top Carolina schools kept recruiting around New York after the Jewish guys got softer-(Billy Cunningham-etc...)
