I'll put an ad out also Dave..Invaders may need a new point as well as Nash seems to be slipping as season ends...we're looking at Invaders worst offensive showing of the season..a few interesting notes-as pointed out by Webber on NBA-tv telecast Heat would have to go 18-1 to equal Cavs record last year-Heat have no bench... their 4th best player is Chalmers..the salary structure was ruined allowing the signing if over the hill players like Juwann/Z/House and Dampier-they wasted 5 million on Miller and the only other good player was Haslem...mow we have them closing the blazer game w/a lineup of Bosh(who disappears in this 3some)LBJ/Wade Chalmers and Bibby-that won't get it done against Bulls/Celtics Magic or even Hawks...
Congrats Andre Miller for passing my childhood idol Guy Rodgers for 15th on all time assist list-Guy was the first one I ever saw make the behind the back pass-congrats also to Kobe for passing Moses Malone for 4th on all time scoring list.

Funny you should mention childhood idols, Mark. Today is the birthday of my own boyhood hero, the greatest player not in the baseball Hall of Fame, the iconoclastic slugger Dick Allen.
It started with my little Spalding Richie Allen autographed model glove and was cemented with the image of Allen pulling on a cigarette in the Phillies' dugout in a Life magazine feature. (My dog ate the glove; I still have the magazine article.)
So here's to the Wampum, PA native, who with the same number of plate appearances as Reggie Jackson would've have put up the same HR and RBI numbers with a batting average 25 points higher.
Dick Allen, 69 years old today.
And the E Team, 2010-2011 regular season champion.

my latest addition of the supplimental draft...the artist formerly known as Air Canada, Vince Carter, formerly of the ETeam, seems to be coming on now after recovering from a sharp hit to the head. 38 and 43 FP in last two games after suffering "concussion like symptoms"...could end up being a decisive roster deletion for Eteam going into the playoffs.
Management recently said they want VC being the primary offensive option in Phoenix, which should suit him fine.
E Team says:

Eric Invaders had a Ron Perranoski glove but he wasn't my idol because he was a Dodger-he was 16-3 w/a sub 2.00 era in '63 so I probably got the glove in '64 which was the year Allen won rookie of the year w/29 hrs and hitting over.300 in tight race w/Rico Carty who hit 24 hrs and batted .330..Phillies lost NL title w/ 10 game lead in September they went to a 3 man rotation and choked..Cards won title....in '65 and '66 Dodgers did the same which lead to pre-mature ending of careers of Koufax and Drysdale

Ooooh,big bad Dick Allen smokes ooooh, cigarettes. The greatest player not in the Hall of Fame is Tim "Rock" my former drug of choice Raines. His production is off the charts in terms of hits, walks and steals. Allen's biggest regret is not growing up in the 'roid era. In a strike shortened '81, "Rock" could have broken Cobb's record before Mosier's neighbor Ricky Henderson did. So Allen could have broken Mosier's other neighbor McGwire's long ball record since getting juiced was what he was best at.
At any rate, Mosier saw a lot more speed and power being in the Bay area at the right time.
As for E-Team's pennant, "just luck," as E-Team would say when I won my first fantasy ring.

E's 2010/11 team replaces P4's team of a 2008/09 as the most dominate team 1 through 12 in my limited memory.

note: P4's didn't win the title that year. Kind of a Patriots like loss in the championship game if I recall. I don't expect the same result from Team E.
How fitting would it be if P4s secure final playoff spot, eliminate E and take back trophy that was stolen in '08-'09? Verrrrry fitting, I think. And I am pretty sure E does not want to face the German Juggernaut in round One.....

Andrea Bargnani has what is being termed as "flu-like symptoms" related to a recent string of on and off DNP's, From Yahoo Sports "Bargnani has dealt with flu symptoms for nearly two weeks now, so this is getting odd, to say the least." Swat Team officials have determined that Mr. Bargnani is most likely to have picked up a reoccuring case of THE CLAP from a Toronto Bath House, thus breaking the Swat Team honor code and has now been suspended for the season, plus I am just tired of playing the douche bag and having him disappoint me every time.
