Does this mean all of the positions in the upper division are set?

League Office:

P4 is the regular season champion. Ticket finishes second.
Nitecaps lead E Team by a half game with one match to play.
Either could finish in 3rd. Or 4th.
Those are the top four teams.

To answer my own question, here's my thinking on Kontrol and the NIT:

For reasons that are really obvious if you think it through, we can't have a robot in the playoffs.

I suggest the top seed in the NIT gets a bye while the 2 and 3 finishers play one match to get to the "final." Then we go double jeopardy best-of-three for the coveted NIT title and lavish cash prize. ($25.00. Hey, it's not nothing.) Or we could go straight best-of-three, but I've done plenty of scorekeeping by now, and I don't know how much privilege finishing sixth out of seven earns a person.

Soliciting input.

I must have missed the troubling injury status reports on Dave's five best players.

The Nitecaps' proposed lineup represents a clear attempt to be less than fully competitive for the purpose of changing playoff seeding. It is in violation of longstanding league principles. There is no need to debate the issue. It has been settled law forever.

Dave gets his previous lineup.
