Well...it was worth a shot. I didn't realize that I couldn't manipulate my lineup for my own (potential) gain. I thought that rule was to prevent collusion.
That's alright...I own Tom

I also protest the commissioner's ruling...

Can I make supplemental pick as I was unable to attend to prior events?

Ticket says you all do not normally draft on the eve of the playoffs because if no one watches some back handed or out to lunch Stacy impersonator will dump a Kobe for a Vinsanity or some such nonsense. P4 lives without KD and does not ask to draft on the eve of playoffs. If he does, then Cap can.

E Team:

Nice scrimmage, Dave. Middleton and Capella taking advantage of some run.

Ticket, down about 60 to P4 for the scoring title, has 216 and seeks something like a 37 or so from Paul George. A 44 would win match hi from his self appointed slave driver.

A 44 from Paul George and Ticket takes match hi and season score "hi... hi,hi,hi, those summer days," as the song from the seventies.

Go ahead and supplemental draft X Man.

League Office:

By God, Ticket is right. He trailed P4 by 61 fp's entering the final match of the regular season and posted a 260 - one short of E Team's season high from Match 27 - and outscored the foundering Teuton by 77, winning the scoring title.

Well done, man!

Ticket wipes out the E Team 260-209, cementing the playoff seeding and locking in his first-round dream date with the Nitecaps, whose first string destroys Wingo 249-184.

It is true, only one the two best squads in the league right now will survive the first round, and that is unfortunate, kinda like the Blazers losing to the Lakers in 2000. But unless you guys want to do like the old NCAA football championship and vote on the two finalists - as if that would work - we got what we got.

For the second time in the last four matches, P4 posts the lowest score on the board, losing to Swat 227-183. The regular season champion is clearly damaged without his KD, but will have the double jeopardy advantage and faces an E Team that posted only one of its 8 MHS in the final nine matches of the season.

Game as always, the Invaders hammer Kontrol 245-219 and vault to the top of the lower division. In the absence of any discussion, we'll go with the format proposed by the League Office. Invaders get a first-round bye, Swat and Wingo play one match to get to the NIT final, where they can either face double jeopardy or go best-of-three. In this case, the latter might be more fair, since the teams finished with the same record, but we should vote on that. (Hey, respect the NIT). I officially vote best-of-three. If no one else votes, that's how we go.

I will finish the standings and get them out, but congrats to all on an entertaining campaign. And best of luck in the post-season, which starts in about 19 hours. Get your lineups in. And come strong or don't come at all.
