New ideas proposed to Ticket:
1)Count boxscores forward and backward...How about just correcting me when I'm wrong. I didn't hassle a certain someone last season about multiple miscounts. I will be tabulating from the Oregonian daily since it's sent to my building. Anyone can over-ride me with a correct Yahoo count.
2)Continue E-Team's style for posting standings...no thanks. This tickertape's too foggy just to add a single feature, ie streaks. You geeks have calculaters for pct's and avg's. Post GB's? Has someone failed first grade?
3)Don't post just sub changes, post whole lineup...guess what? If a certain someone requesting this has time to rant about the problem, he has time to dig like I do when I'm acting as Knish Commish and pasting everyone's lineup each match. This certain someone should be relieved to know his former practice of daily boxscore updates is the objective I will now attain, until I leave for BC the entire month of Feb. This certain someone might want to assume responsibility for this blog then since the great reformer chimed in for a couple of measly weeks.

Fuck that. I already spent hours investigating and identifying your fuckups from the first ten matches. If you have to leave town, fine, someone will pick up the slack. All anybody's asking is that you take the time to get the shit right when you ARE doing it. You agreed to do that at the start of the season - and received a healthy discount in exchange - so just fucking do it. And get it right.
As far as maintaining a standings board, whatever. It's not my "style" to do it. I did it because I think it's a cool thing to have. If you don't plan to do it, fine. I don't give a shit. But must you talk trash to disguise the fact that you're just too lazy and/or dyslexic to do it?
Whatever. Maybe somebody else will volunteer to do it.

I think I enjoy the Ticket - E Team 'conversations' almost as much as the basketball content in this league... I just wish I could witness it more often in person while drinking.... But in response, I agree, just get the shit correct whomever is doing it. A few mistakes are reasonable. We'll pick up the slack as a group effort when called upon.
Like when I correct adam Durant's lines total to 45. And add in Eric flash Gordon's (not to be confused with BenGo) total in last nights affair to 36.

Tom-Ben Go plays for my Invaders and has been out for 2 weeks w/ankle sprain.Joyce's masterpiece Finnegan's Wake is one the greatest books ever written(essentially creating it's own dialect) but probably not needed on a basketball blog.
Seriously Tom...because I have time to point out you lazily listing your subs instead of your entire lineup, I have time to look up old lineups? The idea is to fix the problem, not concede to it.
The "E"-mailed standings far exceed any information found on the "tom" Blog, pertaining to the overall view of whats happening in this league.
Don't waste your time with daily updates. Let's just work on the standings updates and lineups at the beginning of each lineups and scores header.
Hint: master the big stuff before trying to execute the little stuff.

Don't even know where to start. Addition is the most elementary of mathematical skills, taught to most in the first or second grade. Ticket is putting in the time and effort, although accuracy could be a weakness. Not a problem. I do, however, have to draw the line when my co-owner corrects Tom, then makes more errors. Idiots!!!! This difffers from all previous calculations, but I am fairly confident this is correct.
