E Team says:

Hey, I'm changing my lineup.

LeBron, VC, DLee, Rondo, Aldridge, Deng

Sorry about the late switch.

Tom: Not needling. Just want the reporting to be accurate. You had the individual results in the P4-McCarthyists match right, but both totals wrong. The correct score was P4's 165-163. And, as Mark said, the Invaders score was 164 because Ellis had a 46, not a 41.
Don't get all defensive. The simple fact is, you're simply being careless and you owe it to all of us to do better. You did it right for one match. The agreement was that you would do it right all the time.

Dave: There's a schedule on the Match 15 lineup blog. You take on the mighty Germans with a chance to close within one of the frontrunner.

The Schittslinger looks to make it two straight against Ticket.

McCarthyists try to get back into the Top Four against the Shooters.

Invaders and E Team battle to stay respectable.

Good luck, you hard-working elves.

Just for fun Invaders googled Dischinger career stats-He scored 25 points a game as rookie w/Chicago Zephyrs in 62-3.What team did they become? He was only number 2 scorer on that team-Who was number 1?And Dischinger never played fewer than 65 games in any season except his rookie year-I do remember him wearing a mask though.

Invaders see Chris Dudley is running for Governor up there-will he get a higher pct. of the vote than his free throw pct?

Guten Abend,

Epic blast by Tom, who was verrry concerned about having some ancient German LP covers translated. I was reading with great interest until i read the need of a bi-sexual to translate. Didn't see the connection; why does the German who might translate have to be bi-sexual? Wouldn't a straight German be just as valuable? Can't help you out, I guess, and don't know any bi-sexual Germans (not that there is anything wrong with that).

However, if one of the albums is titled, "Schwanstucken; Meine Liebe auf." written by Herr Thomas Billet, I could probably help out...

Ticket says

Excellent food for fantasy thought comrades. Responses:

For E-Team's Cry of the Wild bound for the land of U Conn. So at least the boxscore offers proof of errors. Anybody who cares knows they must correct Ticket regularly. Ticket tries Harden.

Also, good Carter sub Monday!

For P4, your other Monday guys don't look so sharp behind the weak 30 for Nash. Ticket's Mo Willy's 39 gives me X-mas bragging rights to best playmaker.

Also for P4's JK, the bi-lingual malaprop "bi-sexual" need not result in your insistence to prove otherwise my unfounded suggestion. Your humor's terrific with your unasked for renunciation of possibly latent enormities, ie an improper direction for your arousal. Don't get depressed over it. Leave that to the holiday season.

For Invaders,
The Zephyrs did not become the Bulls, so who are they? The Bullets/Wizards? Was Super Gus Johnson the great Zephyr paired against the Minne-apple Elgin Baylor. I'd say they were more entertaining than LBJ and Melo, who had a practice gym built in his name at Syracuse. Too bad Baylor didn't go to Baylor, along comparable architextual thoughts.

Even greater than sight of them must have been your visage of the Royal Big O, not to be confused with the over-due dead evangelist Oral Roberts. Had I been around to see him before his supporting role in the only Buck title with Alcindor in '71, I might have gone ga-ga over his ball handling the way E-Team has over Portland's Jack LaLane: Joe Loprinzi, the Mac club fitness guru who's gym Bartels featured. Loprinzi's obit appeared in last week's rag the Sn-Oregonian.

Invaders say in response to Ticket-It was the great Walt Bellamy(forgotten among Wilt and Russell and later Thurmond) who was the leading scorer as usual. they moved the next year to become the Baltimore Bullets-Chicago got the Bulls as an expansion team(in "66) bringing the league up to 10 teams.Among their expansion draft picks from the Bullets was a skinny 2nd year guard from Evansville-Jerry Sloan. They also traded another expansion pick Jeff Mullins to the Warriors for Guy Rodgers who played w/Wilt in high school and pros-I learned the behind the back pass from him-I was too young to see Cousy.

Invaders did indeed have the honor of seeing the old Cincy Royals on tv on ABC and at the old Cow Palace and Civic Center against the Warriors.. Wilt and Russell were the the big gods but Oscar was Michael Jordan, approaching a triple double every game while scoring 30..he could jump like Lebron or Michael but also had 22-25 foot range and could throw bullet look away passes off the dribble.he would shoot corkscrew fade-aways over bigger guys from deep baseline and wing w/his back to the basket..his second banana was Jerry Lucas who got every call and had his rebounding stats padded(particularly at home) to give the illusion of white stardom in a southern border city. That's why the NBA left St.Louis and Cincinatti.Atlanta could become an NBA town once there was a white superstar(Maravich's rookie year)The Royals were almost always second in the east behind the Celtics until '67 when Wilt went to Sixers and the next year when Earl and Unseld were at Baltimore.Baylor unfortunately was always hurt wearing a knee brace and would only play 40-60 games a year when I was watching.

E Team says:

Goddamn, Dave. 239 with Bosh to go! Have I got that right? Jeez, I think the all-time record is 280-something. Maybe not even that high.

Gotta love the triple-50.

Merry Freakin' Christmas.

Ticket says

Almost as impressive as Invaders, ie Mark Mosier's splendid recollections of hoop legends is Nitecap's, ie Dave Williams' quest for the best lineup of something like six or seven thousand submitted in this league's history.

Knowing the X-Man and his history of super-inducements, he's now rumored to deploy huge aerogeladen puff balls to capture space debris, thus avoiding garbage time and a premature Bosh benching in the Raptor game. A 300? His forwards z-bo and Wallace go for 100's this past week! His Bogut turns around with a 56 after a 14 last match! Bump his Westbrook up from 22 to 42! His Roy carries to a win in Dallas the Multnomah midgets minus their last big stiff!

A very disappointing 254. A chance at immortality... and I melt under pressure. At least Brandon Roy is hurt!?! A return to obscurity is imminent.
