E Team says:

It's official. The P4s win the pennant! The P4s win the pennant! The P4s win the pennant!

Scorned, reviled, cast as Coors Light-swilling villains throughout their long tag-team tenure in the Association, the P4s continue to be better known for their overly long draft night deliberations than their playoff success. But the Germans have consistently kept themselves in or around the post-season in recent years and now turn in one of the most dominating seasons in the history of the league.

Eight in a row. 19-3. Eleven MHS wins at the Match 22 clincher, and a points title awaiting. Against one of the toughest lineups of opponents every assembled. Impressive indeed.

The Big Dance is also set. Behind the regular-season champions are the three best pretenders: Ticket, the Invaders, and the rookie Wingos. None are close to the Germans' 199.6 PPM, but all have shown 200+ punch at least occasionally down the stretch. It's a good bet all three are coveting the No. 2 seed and double jeopardy edge that comes with it.

The race for NIT position continues to favor anybody not named the E Team, which in Match 22 becomes the only team in the league this season to lose two matches while scoring over 200 pts. (Ticket has done it once.) Except for the hard luck Swat Team, which has as high a scoring average as the third-place Invaders, you could call this scramble the Hunger Games.

The league office will compose a prize payment proposal for approval by team owners over the next few days.

As you were, ya merry lads.

Until further notice, the E Team begins its season-ending, cellar-escaping, NIT-crashing three-match win streak with this monster lineup:

DRose, Pau, Bosh, MThorn, Lin, Dunleavy

E Team says:

Okay, scratch that. E Team's eleventh hour run to daylight will have to happen without Derrick Rose (figures).

Pau, Bosh, MThorn, Nash, Lin, Dunleavy

But that could change, too.

Invaders still in shock over Nene/McGee/Young deal and implosion of Blazers not to mention the irony of Monta's first game w/Bucks being right here in Oaktown!I'll roll w/that...Gortat/Lee/Maggette/Paul/Monta and Irving (w/out Sessions around to take any minutes or shots away)-I think Wallace will do well in Jersey from here on(though I'm unsure sure he'd play tomorrow night for my purposes)then I see he will be part of package w/Lopez Brooks and picks in draft day DHow trade
