E Teams says:

Here we go. E Team closes to within a game of BDLK, and 1.5 of the Nitecaps with two to play. The defending champion X-Man can clinch a trip to the NIT with a win. E Team could lose and still catch the Left Knee, who trails on points.

Ticket needs one win to guarantee avoiding the Germans in the first round. A Ticket win and Invader loss gives Tom the coveted No. 2 spot in the Dance.

E Team goes:

Pau, Bosh, JoeJohn, Thornton, Lin, Dunleavy Jr.

E Team says:

Mark, are those the literary giants Harper Lee, Lew Wallace and Washington Irving in your starting lineup, along with the noted scribbler Apostle Paul?

Don't recognize the first guy. Is that the robot from "The Day the Earth Stood Still?"

Niktu Klaator Barata! (sic)

Eric- Invaders think the robot from the original film(1951) GORT would be appropriate for this team as the actor who played him Lock Martin was supposedly 7 foot 7..I'll take Robert E. Lee former owner of Arlington cemetery who kept the Confederacy viable militarily for longer than thought possible at the 4 and Les Paul father of the electric guitar at the point-either John Irving who wrote the World according to Garp or Howard Hughes hoaxer Clifford Irving could sub for the first world famous American author Washington..I'd put William Wallace the Scottish hero of Braveheart at the 3(he'd be tough and a high energy player)but wasn't there a British Wallace who developed the some of the same theories of evolution earlier than Darwin did but never received credit?? Monta doesn't seem to have an alter ego for this discussion but perhaps we eventually come up w/one..

Another Reference to impressive writing: "Derrick Rose dunked so hard, the Knicks coach quit."-Joe Queenan in the weekend Wall St. J.

Ticket advances E-Team's NIT-y dreams:
Tim
Milsap
Josh S.
Wade
Deron
Jennings (vs that clown's pic in Monday's Oregonian with Westbrook pinning the ball to the head of shooter Felton.)
