I heard from him after we sent him a snapshot of an Oakland Invaders pennant we spotted on the wall of the absurdly overrated Stanich's on Fremont. Mired in his usual travail, but seemed in relatively good spirits.
I am in Eugene this weekend Saturday for Journey/Asia at Matt Knight Arena, planning to be out Friday for St. Patty's Day. Sunday night this weekend available.
Next weekend Friday is Social Distortion, Saturday and Sunday are pretty open.
E- Is that Journey minus Steve Perry??? I couldn't do that. One night I stumbled into the Roseland to try and relive my 1983 self and see Ratt. Only to find a young asian guy singing lead... Social D...nice. Glad to hear you're keeping the love alive.
I've got The Orwells this month, followed by Modest Mouse and the Shins in June and The Pixies in October. Got the Cure and Dolly Parton last year...I will be the first to admit that these 10:00 start times are a little late for me. #AARP
Congratulations to Ticket on his 4th title!!! I have to say that I thought this was my best team ever. I had 6 guys go multiple 50's and 7 different in all. Of course that may have been a sign of the times rather than a deep team.
Are we going to discuss any of the suggestions for DNP's or wait until Sean and I get pissed again next year?

I guess the better question may be...are we going to have another year?
All the pissing and moaning hasn't kept us from doing it for 21 years. I'm not betting against the same ragged army showing up for another fight next fall.
I'd love to see Mark back on sturdy footing and a some crafty recruiting of an 8th squad, and I'm confident my new/old DNP mitigation plan, with help from you wise men, will have people eager to get back to work in October.
Congrats again to all on another compelling five months of the preferred Seasonal Affective Disorder cure. Don't know about you guys, but this stuff is like Vitamin D to me.

It is Journey minus Steven Perry, they have this guy from the Philippines who was on YouTube singing Journey songs at karaoke and he got over a million likes due to him sounding just like Perry, the band signed him and he has been touring with them for the last few years.
Saw Steven Pearcy last fall, it was cool because they did a bunch of RATT covers but his voice is shot. 150+ at the Bossanova (old Viscount Theater).
Yeah, saw Bad Religion a couple months ago and Temple of the Dog last November in SF.
Seeing Mastadon and Eagles of Death Metal in April, and Black Stone Cherry in June.
Thinking about seeing Metallica in August at Safeco...
As far as next year goes, I have a good guy to join the league (who is part of DWill baseball landscape - Mullet Militia) and there is the cool guy who sat in on the draft last year. So with two new teams would come new energy and life.
