Best man Beal benched by Ticket based on an injury last weekend that did not lead to any missed games. Typical fear driven mistake. Will Hans capitalize or will Ticket's 150 ish and his twin towers Drummond and Jordan prevail?

I'll take consultation in knowing I would have lost to ticket in second round.

Exactly. Dave, you should know by now not to mess with the fantasy gods. (More on that later.)

Speaking of gods. Ticket hadn't played DeAndre Jordan since Match 27 - 11 matches ago - but he dusts him off for the final and gets a 47 from the guy. Tom's like the Amazing Kreskin or something.
In the process, Ticket moves to within a match of a title by hammering the game P4 by 246-216, a score made mildly respectable only by ADave's 71. For what it's worth, I don't think KD would've saved this one for the defending champion.

Nitecaps claim 3rd Place, needing only five to best the empty husk of the E Team, which gets one made field goal from Dray Green in 38 minutes and a sub-20 from the Pelican superstar Boogie Cousins. Wait for it. 174-166.

And the inert Invaders, who did not sub for the injured Vucevic because they don't even know they're still playing, get a second chance from him and crush the four-man Swat 208-129. One more win and Mark will have the NIT title, although probably not Coach of the Year. And Sean will finish, somewhat ironically, in sixth place.

Can Hans find some kind of miracle to keep his squad alive for one more match? Or does Tom win - correct me if I'm wrong - an unprecedented fourth ring?

Them what's still playing should get their lineups in. Could be our last day. Woo hoo!

I didn't mean our last day. I meant our last match. Little distracted these days.
