Eric- Invaders watched most of Sacramento game-Martin shot much less than the first 5 games and Tyreke actually tried too much one-on- one w/behind the back dribbles because he's less than 2 years removed from Philadelphia(Chester)area high school days and probably had 50 passes at the game for friends and relatives...Warriors had only 8 guys dressed then lost Morrow in first 3 minutes to knee injury and Hunter fouled out in 3rd Quarter after playing 11 minutes..
Invaders would like to know if anyone caught the Pat Robertson quote on 700 club that Haiti's earthquake and other miseries are because they made a pact w/the devil during the slave revolt to gain independence rejecting catholicism and embracing African mysticism(animism and voo-doo)while Dominican side of island were good Catholics and have resort hotels and millioniare baseball players.In the Nation this week Olden Polynice(first Haitian NBA player) responded,"...Pat Robertson isn't a man of God and can suck a big one..."No response yet from Dominican Al Horford...

Tom, please review your totals. Just at a glance, Rondo had a 28, not a 25. It's simply not fair that you gear up and get everything right after people give you a raft of shit, then resume screwing up in the next match. That is carelessness and it's not what you signed up for.

Appreciate the use of Pierce's stats instead of Artest- I didn't find out about the by laws on when ones player is not playing during a match period until it was to late to drop Artie for Pierce. I like to think that if I had been in the lead this still would have occurred.

Terry, you just experienced the beauty and wonder of what's known as an early call. Occasionally during the season, a team will not have a game in a given match period. When that happens, numbers are taken from the final game of the previous match period, or, in rare cases, from the first game of the subsequent match period. If you miss it, you can't pull the guy, although you can change the rest of your lineup by the normal deadline.
We have always tried to alert participants to upcoming early calls, but it's an imperfect effort. Therefore, we established some time ago that league members bear the ultimate responsibility for knowing when there guys go. Or not.
The best way to stay on top of things would probably be to take a second when you're picking your lineup and glance at the following match period, but the truth is, I rarely if ever do that, and I doubt if anybody else does either.
It's just one of the eccentricities that makes the league so well loved by its members. Ask Dave.
