Latest on rotoworld features E-Team's Ellis for Ticket's Josh Smith. Gut feeling the Hawk benefits more from this deal. Smith goes down in history in the greatest Smith lineup: Elmore-5, Larry-4,Kenny-1, & (off the top of my head) Phil-2. Charles is a sixth Smith. No time for Bingo or room for (a Kn-) Ish.
What's your all Ellis squad E-Team? Spot any teacher ops in Austin?
Invaders say how can you forget my JR on Smith team?-he can play 3?(not in our league)...I just saw interesting stat while watching Warrior/Jazz game Jarret Jack has 27 games this year of 10 points and 5 assists more than any bench player in the league-then there was a Jarret "Jack in the Box" reference because the halftime show is sponsored by that chain
I would have failed miserably at the All-Ellis team. Johnson would be easier. Which reminds me that, back in the 80's, one of Letterman's Top 10 lists was Failed NBA Slogans, one of which was...
Wingos note the glory years of the 80s when you could field an all-Johnson team vs. an all-Williams team and have a good game. Now all we have is Smilin' Dave Johnson in our league to remind of the day...
The all Johnson vs. Williams team reminds me of the only championship for a city I lived in. The '79 Sonics featured Dennis Johnson, John Johnson and Gus Williams.
Final the Germans roll again beating the Invaders 235-185 behind 62 from Harden P4(Irving-39...Harden-62...Durant-42...Bosh-13...Ibaka-28...George-41)Invaders(BLopez-33...Lamarcus-29...JJohn-34...Westbrook-47...JR-8...Vucevic-34)
Final Swat holds on to beat the Eteam 196-188 Swat(Parker-48...Lawson-39...LBJ-45...AJeff-33...Gasol-22...NRob-9)E(Howard-39...Monta-36...Pierce-22...Duncan-31...Kemba-38...Vasquez-23)
Waiting for the Clips to play tomorrow for the other 2 finals..Caps are done at 200 Mr.B has 144 needing a miracle performance from Blake Griffin...Wingos have 184 Ticket 138 needing a very productive outing from CP3
Dave, wasn't Ollie Johnson on that team? Maybe he was in Portland.
Interesting topic. "Personal titles." Kinda not fair that Tom grew up in New York, but who leads us in titles won by teams from cities we were living in?
I think I'm in at four. Blazers in '77, Mets in '86, NY Giants twice in, what, '86 and '90. One of you hockey geeks will have to tell me if the Rangers won a Stanley Cup between '84 and '94. And do the Devils count if I lived in New York?
And wait. I saw the New York Cosmos beat the Seattle Sounders in Portland for the NASL title in, like, '77. Pele's last game. Top that, sports fans.
Invaders list is as follows for Oakland 72/73/74 A's world series(in '89 when A's earthquake series win I was living in Reno)... 2010 and 2012 SF Giants(living in Oakland)...'75 Warriors(Oakland)...Raiders '77/Raider win living in Oakland that super bowl I attended w/Mark Davis at the Rose Bowl.. watched '81 Raiders win super bowl w/current Grizzlies GM and others at Amarillo Slim's party at the top of the Hilton in Reno.I was running w/bookies back and forth to the bay and going to grad school at University of Nevada living at Capri motel right across from campus...49ers multiple super bowls while living in Oakland starting with '82 etc...I was in NY for '86 Mets victory (went to the parade)I remember I had told some idiot that day Sid Fernandes wasn't Spanish(he's of Portuguese/Hawaiian ancestry Eric's knows there are lots of Portuguese in Hawaii)so I was technically living in NY for Met win before moving back..lived in NY 1999-2007 for 2 Yankee wins in that period...
Final Wingos defeat the Tickets 184-148 HW(Rubio-26...Beal-30...Danilo-37...Horford-40...Cousins-24...Dirk-27)T(Monroe-19...KG-27...Josh-30...Curry-39...Wall-23...Paul-10)
Final Nitecaps run over the B's 200-172 Caps(Jennings-47...Kobe-27...Turner-28...Zbo-28...Pekovic-48...Melo-22)B(Tyreke-29...DWade-28...Gay-36...Griff-28...DLee-30...Asik-21)Germans 235 takes the high match point money

Invaders take a crack at all Ellis team Leroy-5 Perry-4 Jumpin Joe from 60's Warriors-3 Dale-2 Monta-1--I'll cheat and make Pervis Ellison 6th man

"Come see our Johnsons"

Tom-Roger Brown made the Hall w/Daniels last year so there are 12 former ABA players in the HOF...

Upon on further review my hometown titles. Still one.
I was born late for the 1917 victory for Seattle Metropolitans win over the Montreal Canadians for the Stanley Cup.
I bet Tres Wingo can submit a few winners.
Mark is piling them up in hurry.

Don't forget Ranzino Smith and the Dean of all Smiths.
All those titles are great but P4 is in the process of doing something that's never been done p4.
