Ticket says
Mr. B(altimore)'s Gay won for wonwon.
Noah,Curry,Paul+Ticket 99-22 Mr. B+West,Lee,Evans,Griffin,Wade.

Besides three participants in the Pacer-Warrior game, the remainder of them play in three matches of powerhouses vs patsies. Will the Cavs,Kings & Cats
boost or sedate production from appointed Bull, Heat and Clip stat-sters?

Ticket predicts a close match around 190 apiece.

Ticket asks Invaders
Is Dion Waiters related to the former Blazer pivot Granville? GD also played for Indy in thee Clark Kellogg days if I'm not mistaken.

Hoop Social said...

Invaders have never read anywhere that Granville and Dion are related-Granville backed up Herb Williams at Indy and went to Ohio State Dion went to Syracuse

Tom is so fond of quoting me, I figured I'd return the favor, reflecting on his uncanny prognostication for the current Ticket-Mr. B match.

"Ticket predicts a close match around 190 apiece."

Uh, yeah. Better double check that, Kreskin.

And Sean gets a 67 from LBJ?!

I think I just lost my one-point tiebreaker.

Mr. B pulls within a half game of Ticket with a 60 guy-Wade (vs Ko)- I believe is the best guard of this century. Mr.B nearly joins my 6,000 pointed rivals for a dance date with the ring leader or the champ. Against the former, the pride of Baltimore will be on the line. Melo vs Gay. That would stark Raven mad for them (Chesa)peak-ers.

I did not anticipate an average of Five Forty guys from MR. B, thanks to a double OT between the Kings and The King.

I do not intend to use Curry at point. Due to an obscure "fantasy league on ESPN" site, my former guys Jack and Sanders are dual positioned. I'd like to thank Invaders for not letting me know where this post was. I've been checking the real life position designations on ESPN depth charts.

This is typical of this SNL computer guy century. At least X-man reveals the obscure replacement for the dicktator of positions shouting down objections on draft day, albeit after the supplemental draft season is over, or is it?

Jumpin' Jehosefats!
Sports book gambling legalized yesterday in the Garden (of Evil) State! (Or is there a way to disallow sports book action from online casinos? Invaders says legal 4 major sports books outside of Vegas will never happen).

Source Wed. 2/26 NY Times. Note: Not as reliable for fact finding as the Potland Trib when E-Team had a say in it.

¶ TRENTON (AP) — Gov. Chris Christie signed a bill on Tuesday making New Jersey the third state in the nation to legalize Internet gambling, hours after the Legislature passed a revised bill that made the changes he wanted.

¶ The changes included setting a 10-year trial period for online betting, and raising the taxes on the Atlantic City casinos’ online winnings to 15 percent, from 10 percent. Gamblers would have to set up online accounts with a particular casino.

¶ The bill is expected to bring about the largest expansion of legalized gambling in New Jersey since the first casino began operating in Atlantic City in 1978. Delaware and Nevada have passed laws legalizing Internet betting, which also occurs offshore, untaxed and unregulated.

¶ “This was a critical decision, and one that I did not make lightly,” Mr. Christie said. “But with the proper regulatory framework and safeguards that I insisted on including in the bill, I am confident that we are offering a responsible yet exciting option that will make Atlantic City more competitive while also bringing financial benefits to New Jersey as a whole.”

Invaders shocked by Jersey decision.Christie will kill his weak GOP nomination hopes.I didn't know about Delaware??Tom I assumed everyone knew that you get ESPN positions off it's "fantasy" lists which I see daily-I'm so used to dealing with it I take it for granted that others would logically go there. It's my bad for not making this clear to you but these are the positions we used last season as well.Did you try going to ESPN clicking fantasy...clicking basketball...then use the player rater Dave suggested or the pre-season top 200 or cheat sheet that's part of the "draft kit"??

I have to say that I (like Mark) did too. I don't think ESPN regular hoops lists multiple position designation for any players, does it?

BTix, check out last weeks "Behind the Bets" podcast for some more insights into New Jerseys attempt to legalize sports betting. Good stuff.

E Team says:

The League Office, Statistical Division, will send out updated standings tomorrow, but the XMan is right about the way this thing is playing out.

The suddenly vulnerable Germans fail to pull away from the second-place Nitecaps for a second straight match, and lead by two with seven to play. What's more, the Caps, the only team with a shot at the P4's scoring lead, have closed to within 100 points.

At the other end, the second hottest team in the league, the Wingos, complete the sweep of the two front-runners and extend their lead over the Invaders to two in an effort to avoid the drink tab.

But the true adventure is in the middle, where four contenders for two Big Dance spots are now separated by one game. One freakin' game! Four teams!
And it's not like they're all schlumpy. The streaking Swat Team wins its eighth in a row, vaulting two places in the standings.
And the sixth-place Mr. B just outscored six other teams that were 200-plus for MHS.

Scoreboard watching? You betcha.
