There's nothing like a rundown on trade day from Invaders. Has a squad ever moved so many starters as the Wiz-zephyrs? (A Keith Van Horn deal comes to mind. How did that one go?) Drop it on us.

Keith Van Horn's(retired but not offically) salary was used to complete the Jason Kidd trade w/NJ.Can't recall any team moving 3 starters.We all know about Camby and Haywood Butler-and Jamison/Z/Gooden?.House and Giddens(may substitute Marquis Daniels if KIng/Knick McGrady deal doesn't require House) for Robinson/McGrady Landry and Dorsey to Kings for Martin- Armstrong- Sergio and Kenny Thomas-TMac will be routed to Knicks today or bought out.Salmons for Warrick and Alexander(or Kurt Thomas)Elson and Meeks for Brezec and Ivey and pick(don't laugh Meeks has nice upside-big scorer at Kentucky)Darko for Cardinal(now you can laugh)More to come at Noon.

Is Martin the player he was going into the two previous seasons? Can Battier guard powers on the downside in the playoffs? That Brooks & Martin combo looks fresher than any other western combo right now. I don't see why the Kings parted with Martin, even if he is spindly. How many guards are out there that can drop twenties when there's no one else to worry about? (which was Martin's case before Evans emerged and he got injured.) I'm thinking Adelman's got another Petro. Am I whack?

Invader response to Ticket questions.Martin is the same player-great scorer and poor lateral quickness on D(clue to this is King acquistion of McGuire from Wiz who is great defender).Battier is the complete opposite and could be plugged in at 2-3 or 4.The Rockets have 2 lock-down defenders for wings in Battier and Ariza and can afford to overlook Martin's defense.Petrie's reasoning for trade is multi-faceted and understandable.The Maloof brothers lost a lot of money in stock market financial meltdown and Maddoff pyramid scheme and want to cut costs-They desperately tried to fish another team into taking Udrih/Nocioni long term contracts but Martin was the only marketable piece making long term big money.Tyreke,Thompson and our cousin Casspi are the mainstays of the club all making low salaries for the mext 3 years.Tyreke's shoot first mentality was freezing Martin out of scoring.Landry was key piece for Petrie in deal
