E Team says:

One match, for third place in the playoffs and a whopping $25. The regular season co-champion and the scoring titleist.

LeBron, DLee, KG, Rondo, SJax, Aldridge

Yippee.

That's messed up. I'm still reeling from the recent events. Like Barry Bonds says, "Life isn't always fair" How in the hell are the best two teams playing for $25? Shouldn't it be much more than what the winner of the NIT gets? And I'm too distraught to comment further.

The Rightful Rulers

Jackals!!!! All of you! Enough to drive an insane man even more insane. Don't think Dirk won't be in "camp" this summer after his epic 24. And Curry, who hdidn't have a DNP ALL YEAR until March 17. He was cleared to play on the 19th, but pussed out and cost us. What are the odds? About the same as Brooke Lopez going off over D Rose in 09. F*** this all!!!!

E-Team's St. Jax? vs You want to know how many scoring titlists and top winners have been dropped from a "rightful" story line on the Jason Hart Trophy? Ticket's first season involved a scoring title without even home court ad. P4 forgets it's only trophy entry came at the expense of top scorer and winner Ticket losing his frontcourt just in time for the playoffs. The year before I won top score and held Maggette, who would have won me the title against Big Panty, after an early exit from a game the night before the fantasy finals. That's the same cause for failure by P4, who held the Mayo who would have beaten DBS.

In effect the Germans shouldn't have collected what they have. There shouldn't be any money divied up for second, third and fourth place, let alone the NIT.

Nitecap's Bogut?,Z-Bo? vs Rose-allergic DBS?

NIT's Spokesman for discharger for MODORCS (spell backwards) vs Ticket
O'Neal
Scola
Melo
Gay
Wade
Collison

You enjoy that late foul call at the end of regulation in the Kansas State-Xavier game Mark? The three free throws instead of two for the cold blooded Musketeer set up the best OTs since Laettner-Mashburn. That pressure cooker ranks with others. What comes to mind memory man?

So is the NIT P4 vs ETeam?

And is it one game or B of 3?

People??

The best OT game in NCAA Tourney history likely happened last night.

vs DBS

Ugh!

R. Westbrook
B. Roy
G. Wallace
C. Bosh
E. Okafor
J. Salmons

Hopefully Stacey is back to managing his team

Invaders loved double ot last night-foul was legit-I hate the change of strategy to fouling w/lead due to fear of cheap 3 point line.Intentional foul (anti-hack a Shaq via Dunleavy inspiration)in NBA in last 2 minutes as well as cheap TO and take out at half court rule make major difference in college/pro last second strategy...great game...I hope for ST.Mary's Irish miracle tonight..

Invaders rememeber David Thompson w/5-6 Monte Towe and 7-4 Tom Burleson vs.Walton and UCLA in "74 went 2 OT.Maybe NC State under Valvano winning on Lorenzo Charles play on long Derrick Wittenberg air ball put back("tip-in") winning NCAA title-when they weren't even as good as Tarheels/ Blue Devils or Sampson led Va. Cavaliers in their own conference during the regular season...

One more time. The NIT is best of three. The third-place showdown is one match only.

And let me get this straight: Stacy has failed to update his lineup and goes for $350 with Joe Johnson and Derrick Rose on the bench?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. That's a tricky one for those of us who would seek to rid the league of incompetent team stewardship: the guy who gets to the finals and then neglects to manage his squad.

Speaking of which, Ticket's selective historical review of playoff failures - which featured the usual, annoying blend of self-congratulation and baseless insults - failed to mention that his first title came gift-wrapped when Stacy made a ridiculously ill-advised substition in the title match.

So much for complete reporting.

Invaders lead the Ticket dudes 129-55.Granger explodes for 60-O'Neal goes down in 1st quarter w/7.West/Thornton and Ellis go tonight for Golden state invasion forces vs. Collison/Scola tonight and Melo/Gay playing tomorrow for Ducateers
