E Team says:

Couldn't help but notice. The enigmatic Shooters are projecting to go over 200 against the No. 1 Germans, who get a big number from KD (49) but a sub-30 from Dirk.

Oh my.

Will the P4's need big numbers from Chauncy and Nene tomorrow night in NY? In a game that could get one-sided in a hurry?

Can Stacy get to the title game for the first time in more than a decade?

E Team says:

I've got the Ruff Trader at 222, the Germans at 134 with Billups and Nene to go.

That does not look good for the regular season champions.

Wow.

Ticket says
DBS leads 222-142 P4's + 2 Nuggets
Amare 47
Rose 43
D How 40
Joe J 36
Booze 32
Jo. Smith 30
P4 142
Durant 54
Curry 33
Nash 31
Dirk 24 (top ppp-pick?)
Billups
Nene

(E-Team can't count. Ticket's also questionable.)

Holy broken brackets! First a "Syl" Lee disappearance costs the scoring leader a last dance, then a disputed no. 1 record holder (if you go by points as a tie breaker, although that's not the case.) P4's hold the Mayo recipe for match one of the '10 playoffs will cause a stir in the German chambers.
According to Oregonian hack Joe (?) Canzano, Kevin Pritchard's fired sidekick Tom Penn "was a victim of a drive by shooter." It's up to Nitecap to remove the Madness from March. Will he be left with the proverbial table dancers' cream atop his crown when he comes home to Celeste, or will the co-best record holder bring home the bacon?

Ticket says
Melo+Hibbert+Ticket 144-148 Nets+Pau
Collison 30
Wade 49
Gay 30
Scola 37
Melo Tue.
Hibbert Tue.
Nets
Brooks 18
Ginobli 33
Ig 36
Lopez 30
Rasha-Lew 31
Pau Wed.

After Ticket benched missing O'Neal and virtually missing Okur (6 fp's in playoff match one) both chalk up "Syl Lee" 37's this match. That's why E-Team said to this former champ on celebration day, "It's just luck."

All eyes are on the Garden tonight for the Knicks and Nuggets. Will Melo's fling ringer or will he sit because of his ring finger? Will Hibbert attract foul problems in Detroit? If so, will the Nets' Pau+4 against the Spurs Wed. hold up? Only the Invaders wants to also know.

Ticket says
Correction: DBS 's Calderon remains inexplicably in his lineup. How did the dick-tator miss this in this post after noting Mr. 19 fp's this match entered the self-face fucker's lineup last match?

DBS 198-142 P4. Can someone confirm this count?

This is the last word from DBS, so Calderon remains in the DBS lineup:

"Wow, picked the right time to not pay my cable bill and run through life's drama! Although Rose and JJ are due back tonight, J. Rich is blowin up and Colderon against the Thunder sound better the Rose's limp wrist against LBJ.

D-How and the 26
Amare
J Smith
J. Richardson
J. Calderon
Boozer

March 19, 2010 3:33 PM"

Invaders think there are math challenged individuals at work here.If you have Calderon w/19 and Richardson w/46- subtracting their 65 from JJ and Rose 79 leaves 14 -subtracted from 222 = 208 for DBS.The total however wasn't 222 but 228(47+43+40+36+32+30)So if you add Amare/Howard/Boozer and Josh you get 149(47+40+32+30)149 plus 46 for Rich and 19 for Ivan=214 for DBS....

E Team says:

Gee, that's some nice reporting.

I must admit, it never occurred to me that Stacy would fail to return JoeJohn and Rose to his lineup. Then again, what was I thinking? It's Stacy.

So he goes JRich (46) and Caldo (19) and guides his squad - can you really call it that? - into the finals with a 208-189 win and two-match sweep of the Germans.

Breathtaking. And nutty.

It makes for a great matchup, however. Both the Shooters and the NiteCreams are worthy of competing for the title; both of them are true originals - charter members who sat like Jefferson and Adams at that storied table at McCall's in late '96.

Will it be the XMan, who waited 11 seasons to get his first ring, winning his second? Or the Ruff Trader, who's always been his own worst enemy in pursuit of an elusive first title?

Good stuff.

Ticket 200-148 Nets + Pau (tonite)

I assume the third-fourth place match and the NIT Finals are one match affairs.Cap-DBS, both second time playoff entries, get a long-time needed remedial on playoff experience with a best of three.

E Team says:

The battle for third place between the Germans and the E Team is one match that begins Friday.

The NIT championship is and always has been a best-of-three. Unless you want to make it one match. Your call.

Hoop Social said...

Without going into the detail this deserves, I have to say that The Germans are in severe distress, beaten down in a way that might make us flee into our finely furnished and luxurious bunkers.

BS. We have got screwed once again. Best team two years in a row and fucked both times. I cannot say if we will attack again with veracity previously unseen, or cap ourselves watching reruns of Three's Company.

Best to all except E,
P4

Plus Vier makes friendly wager with DBS and Nitecreams... Our score vs. yours next two matches. $20 per game.

I'd personally rather win the NIT than lose in the Finals,,,, again.

Wienerschnitzel!

I'm a little offended that I wasn't asked to participate, but with my Tyreke and others down with injuries, I'll decline anyway.

Bastards.
