A problem arises with the Ticket/Swat match under the old rules Ticket wins 164-154 under the new rules it's Swat 185...Invaders are swayed by the Eric/Dave argument and must rule Ticket the winner under the old rules(though this bothers me because Tom voted to start now)-if Sean had just acknowledged my call for affirmation that we wanted the new rules this match he would be the winner Ticket(Noah-24...Monroe-25...Josh-39...Derozan-27...Curry-21...Paul-28...)Swat(Parker-23...Manu-DNP...LBJ-45...AJeff-28...Gasol-22...VJao-36)Manu had 31 under 2nd chance rules

Partial score Germans have already won w/180+Durant B's 173...

Partial Eteam also looks like sure winner at 191 Wingos 125+Cousins who's unlikely to score 67

Ticket says

If Swat insists whenever he shows up for draft night or this blog, I will take a loss for the resting guido Manu's second chance counting for Swat. This harkens back to the spirit of competion in the days when the dicktator allowed late lineup entries agreed upon by match opponents only.

Mr. B gave me an undeserved win and all this Christmas cheer may lead to a hangover. More important is what matters for the record, ie the finals.

"The shiny new toy" the dicktator calls the second chance is a relief to anyone hoping for an end to the DNP arguments. He'd rather fight than switch, like the Tarryton smoker he was in the sixties.

I take consolation in the draft day woes of the scorekeeper. His glimpse from afar gives him less time to draft from abroad than those present, a condition that expands to Nitecap and me.

For comic effect, I'll quote for the fantasy league's cellar dweller Newsday's explanation of the Mets justification for trading a Cy Young winner for a Buck:

"When former NL homer leader Ralph Kiner asked Branch Rickey for a raise in a new contract negotiation, Rickey responded, "We can finish last with you or without you.""

Invaders should have known better than to draft an injury prone team.

Yes Dave Invaders should've seen on draft night that Pau/Lowry/Bogut/Granger/Lamarcus/Lopez/Mo etc.. were all bad picks due to the fact they would all get injured-if only it was unlimited transactions on a daily basis or season long DNP 2nd chances I'd be ok!!
