Sub-20s from Harden and Bosh and the pennant-winning and defending champion Germans are suddenly in a world of trouble.

Meanwhile, the XMan calmly calls on Tobias Harris and the answer is 47 fp's. That's awesome. I'll drink to that. In fact, I think I'll go drink to that right now. I'll be down at the Moon and Sixpence if anybody needs me.

Partials -Ticket is leading the Germans 163-141 it's Curry vs.George going forward but the Germans seem to have blown that great regular season run here tonight.Curry's ankle would probably need to turn the wrong way for the Germans to pull this out..still stranger things have happened-Tom should thank Tony Allen the great defender of shooting guards for shutting down Harden this evening

Partials-In our other first round playoff game it's the ETeam 155+Howard and Monta Nitecaps 129 Jennings/Kobe and Sanders left to play.....

Ticket says

Riley, the Miami Heat president, responded Friday to comments from Ainge, his Boston Celtics counterpart, that LeBron James’ complaints of hard fouls were “embarrassing.”

“He needs to shut the [expletive] up and manage his own team,” Riley said in a statement. “He was the biggest whiner going when he was playing.

Apparently freedom of speech is out of fashion.

Kobe questionable for tonights game.

I could have felt better if I left Pekovic in.

What is this E...it could come down to 3 Bucks? Both disgusting and awesome.

What a crazy season...

What's questionable is why I always have to read about Kobe's injuries and then watch him blow up in games.

Here we go.

Invaders read it was Harden that turned his ankle last night and isn't playing this evening further enhancing(or caused by?) the fine defense of Allen against him

Hey, it's Ilyasova night in Milwaukee. Doesn't look like anybody else is going to do anything.

This Nitecaps-E Team looks like one of those cycling events in the velodrome where everybody goes about a mile and a half an hour for about nine-tenths of the race.

This isn't going to be decided by one game; it's going to be decided by one quarter. Or maybe the final minute.

I think I'll go make dinner. I can't bear to watch.

And Mark, Ticket had 173, not 163, going in.

Ticket tunes in for the last tenth of the senior circuit "velodrome" showdown. A watched pot never kettles. The two league initiators appear to let a couple of Lakers prolong the party.

Ticket believes my score by Invader count is better E-Team's.

Hoop Social said...

Ticket has a 178-156 lead with Curry @ Portland in the early second period while George is in the locker room at halftime.

Hoop Social said...

Invaders had Ticket scores Monroe-31/ADavis-22/Josh-29/Paul-33/Wall-48=163...

Mark, my bad on Ticket's score. I thought he'd gone AMir, not ADave.

And thanks, X. Always a graceful competitor. I salute your fine season.

You'd think you would've seen everything after 17 seasons, but I'm fairly sure we've just witnessed FBBL history, with both underdogs surviving two knockout games.

Kudos to the Germans, who will surrender the Hart Trophy, and the XMan. Both teams were dominant during stretches of the season, but ended up facing the wrong teams at the wrong time.

I say the winner right now is the league itself. Pretty amazing stuff.
