What position does Greivis Vasquez play? Yahoo lists him as a 1/2, which is what I was hoping when I drafted him. The guy is 6'6." I thought Austin Rivers was the point when Gordon was out, but ESPN has Rivers as an SG. Shooting guard?! He's Doc Rivers' son!

Are you insinuating Zebo had a nasal infection?induced by exposure to a white powder substance??Invaders say since trade to Hornets Vasquez has always played one w/or w/out Gordon...Rivers was the 2 then it became Roger Mason jr. until Gordin's return-Vasquez despite his size has been a primary ball handler his whole career in the NBA w/Memphis as a Conley backup and now in NO-Yahoo has some very odd positions that ESPN doesn't agree with-the criteria to get eligibility for positions on ESPN is ten games as a starter I believe but it's not clear for back ups-Since Vasquez has always started this year I'll go w/ESPN's view of things so you should use him as a 1 or a 6th man

Fair enough. I accept your ruling. Vasquez is arguably a better fantasy guard than either Rajon Rondo or Monta Ellis at this point, so I'm good either way.
And Mark, can you tell me, does Monta Ellis need a shooting coach or something? Is there another player in the league that logs as many 5-18 games from the field?

Having seen Monta for many games here in Oakland I'd suggest shot selection has never been his strong point-this is a guy w/tremendous one on one skills speed and leaping ability that don't always translate into a great shooting pct. he's kind of like a shortstop in baseball w/great range who has a bad fielding avg/ simply because he attempts to make plays most others wouldn't dare try to make because they can't

Dave Invaders have 32 for Gasol not 10-on Friday night he had 12 points /6 rebs/3 ast/3 steals and 8 blocks!!I think you thought of Pau who must have had 10-I have him so I always call him Pau when in my lineup and his brother Gasol
Pau won't be in the Invaders lineup any time soon due to poor play and now a concussion so Sean's is the only Gasol

The E Team was only making the point that Vasquez has both the skills and the size to play either guard position, which Yahoo NBA obviously acknowledges. I gracefully accepted Mark's ruling based on the ESPN designation (although those seem to change from time to time).
Yes, as a league it took us awhile to realize that multiple-position designations as determined by one agreed-upon source was a pretty good way to go. Some stuff takes time to figure out. It would be nice if people would stop whining about that and everything else in the history of the league.
And yeah, the new rule is really kicking ass. Until last match it had failed to address every DNP since its inception except one. But it covers Dave’s ass when the pea-brained shitbag Randolph gets too drunk to play and it’s “doing what it was designed to do?”

So Z-bo doesn't hold his liquor a well as E-TEAM'S role model Dick Allen.The time Brooklyn Dodger Billy Cox, drinking buddy of team mate Preacher Roe, was nailed out at home by coasting after a fly out to Willie Mays...that was a mistake to be condemned since it lead to a loss and a season ending tie for the '51 playoff. Who should care about how boozers affect the game more than former bartenders like E-Team and his role model, the minor league hit leader Dick Allen's booze infused trophy won on the last day of the season.
