Ticket says Nets radio announcer by the Italian name of fooget aboudit says Mark Gasol's game reminds him of a center out of 1978. Combine that with fellow pivot jump baller "Dolph" Lopez and tonite was turn back the clock nite in futuristic attire.
Clarification: E-Team says, "So this glorious season represents "...the first time no one will...be victimized by no shows."
Gosh, that's so inspiring. I almost cried. But then I puked first."
That comment of Ticket's had nothing to do with the second chance rule. I just don't believe this pack of dogs on my heels are going to let up in pursuit of a playoff berth against the champs, or if injustice prevails, the ring leader. So let's be glad someone does not disappear and leave a DNP in their lineup multiple matches in a row.
Hey ring leader, food 4 thought: Tonite's scores show over projected combined scores 7-1 so far. I wonder what "Sports Betting Star" bet tipper web site figured. Cav 113-108 Bux Over 201 Wiz 114-101 Pups Over 187 Heat 110-88 Pist Over 193 Griz 101-77 Nuts Over 177 by 1 Bull 103-87 Warr. Over 189 by 1 Hawk 123-11 Celt Over 185 Spur 111-107 Mav Over 205 Rocket 100-82 Pelix Under 200.
Dang. Even if I had played the shithead DHow, who got up off the operating table and put up a 34, I think I'm done in by the 9 from my Venezuelan. (Against Jeremy Lin!?)
The cancer-ridden Hugo Chavez could've given me a better number.
Partial scores P4 190+George Swat 128 w/Batum and Lawson still to be heard from...B's 151 awaiting results from the bi-racial guy in the Kia commercial Eteam 108 Hickson& Scola yet to contribute...Wingos 143+the Italian in Denver Nitecaps 96-Turner/Melo and the large infant haven't played yet...Ticket 166+Jameer Invaders a mere 78 Lamarcus/JR and Nikola still available

Ticket says Amazing to know there's a live link between the youngster by the radio Marky M. and Dolph Schayes, the Jew who retired all-time NBA scoring leader. Marky M.'s presence on this blog proves definitively he outlasted the legend of that fortunately bygone era of Jewish basketball. Fifty years of interest in the NBA qualifies for a golden anniversary of sorts. In honor of the Cool Californian, another 49er title guaranteed by Ticket. I wonder if the bay area has seen multiple major 4 sports titles in the same year. Was the (suspended) Icky Shuffle-less Super Bowl rematch between the 49ers and Bengals the same year as the Battle of the Bay between the A's & Giants? I scalped both. The spray painted green sandy Orange Bowl turf was a bigger joke on Cincy than all the WS games played "on the road" by the Giants.
Ticket says How could I forget. Good guys beat Baltimore in 75 NBA Finals after the A's beat LA. What kind of mischief was on the agenda the night pale face commander Rick Barry did what only Walton,Bird and Nowitzki have done since. May the good guys beat Baltimore again Sunday.
Earthquake series was same year as repeat Super Bowl win over the Bengals 4th? 49er win although Oakland/SF win same year doesn't technically qualify(more on that next post)-my second game listening to radio I remember was same road trip vs. champion Celtics featuring the last season of a retiring point guard named Cousy-I thought it was a cool name so the the next day I impressed my 2nd grade friends by doing a play by play of a 6th grade game at noon recess the best 6th grade player I called Cousy-I will never forget my only Warrior championship my sophomore year of college in '75-Barry and an aging Jeff Mullins(who's major contribution was off the bench outside shooting and tossing the ball away from the other team to stop fast breaks after Warrior baskets leading to delay of game warnings) were the only 2 white guys which made the Warriors the blackest team in the league in '75-I earned my nickname of "Riordan"(the only white starter on that losing Bullet team) for being the only white guy on my team in pick up games that year and later in a summer league featuring college and 2 pro players(Warriors bench players Charles Dudley and Derrick Dickey) at a JC-one game I was matched up w/the best white player in the bay area Rod Williams from Hillsdale High in San Mateo who destroyed me(he avg. almost 40 a game in high school in '73) and later started on the '76-77 USF team that was ranked 1st in the country until being blown out by UNLV led by Reggie Theus in the tournament...my senior year of '73 the best high school basketball player in the bay area was Rupert Jones of Berkeley high who signed a baseball contract rather than accept a 2 sport college scholarship-Claudell Washington played w/Rupert at Berkeley-one the best Catholic school basketball players was St.Elizabeth's of Oakland Dave Stewart a junior in '73 who went on to an even better baseball career than Rupert
Invaders have a favorite story about Oakland/SF football rivalry-the year when the 49ers won their first Super Bowl 1981('82 super bowl) was also the Raiders last year-2 friends of mine after partying celebrating the Niner victory in the wee hours on the AM decided to get some black paint and a tall ladder go to Raider headquarters and paint over the white fluorescent letters of the team name visible from the freeway-They painted over the letters"O" "A" "K" "N" "D" leaving the sign to read LA RAIDERS
Final Ticket destroys my Invaders 199-142 T(Noah-38...Monroe-44...Milsap-21...Josh-40...Curry-23...Nelson-33)Invaders(BLopez-25...Lamarcus-21...JJohnson-16...Westbrook-37...JR-10...Vucevic-33)

E Team says:
Mark, I can update the numbers if you'll get me that Cap-Wingo final.
And I strenuously object to Ticket's contention that Rondo's injury ends the E Team's hopes.
I have not yet begun to fight.
