E-+Kemba 127-125 Tix+Josh Smith
The 5 from Nelson Mandela reveals an obvious aging problem for Tix. With only Peace and Hibbert available as reserves at three positions, Ticket treads on thin ice.

Smith matches up against Boozer in his second game in two nights. Kemba's fresh going into the Linsane Asylum. Expect a hoot on Sat. night for the fantasy fretters.

Tix loses his Wall Memorial and Nelson Mandela tonite. Hibbert and Peace are his only available reserves at four positions. The amendment of supplemental drafts is a godsend. The second chance rule for a later score instead of a first score of nothing in a match period is not nearly as consequential for eliminating goose eggs. My opponent happens to be very fond of goose eggs and adamantly opposed to second chances. That's because he use to wear the tools of ignorance. As they say, the clothes make the man.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, second chance, blah, blah.

Here comes another opportunity to restart the debate about the stat-grubbing pinhead Josh Smith. Can he outduel my Kemba and keep Ticket on the porch with the big dogs?

(Associating my squad with the term "big dogs" is what, in literature, is called satire.)

One of my favorite hoops trivia questions: Who is the greatest African-born point guard in NBA history?

Mark, you can't answer.

And here's another. Who is the NBA's
most accomplished Jamaican backcourt player?

Hint: It's kind of a trick question. And Mark, you have to wait until others have taken a stab at it before you weigh in.

Tix says Hakeem & Ewing greatest African and Jamaican guards by our new multi-position pre-season designations of positions. Just Joshing. Bob Cousy was born in Jamaica, Queens, so he's the greatest Jamaican. Dick an Aardsdale's the (SoUth) African? Or Tom?

Tix up 2 with 2 minutes left for Kemba to catch tie match for E-Team.

Speaking of trick questions, three different major league franchises in Washington suited up what active player who died last year?

Ticket says to Invaders
Why lie about being sorry. B's David Lee has got your Warriors to the 30 win mark faster than any other Alamaeda Collisseum occupant since '76! Here's what your No Cal neighbor and fellow former NYer has to say.

"You mean 'Willis Reed Curry?'" he said with a chuckle. "He came back tonight and played the way Steph is capable of playing. He really led us in that second half, not only making plays for himself but finding other guys."

NOTES: All five Warriors starters scored in double figures for just the second time this season. ... Lee has four consecutive games with at least 15 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. No NBA player since Kevin Garnett in 2003 has had such a four-game run.

Chili Davis the Jamaican?
I give up. Who are the best playmakers from each side of the Atlantic south of Europe? God Sham God's from NYC. That's as close as I get to the African names changed after entering the pearly gates known as the NBA, the only heaven I'll vouch for besides MLB.

Perfect. While my brave young Kemba battles to keep his undermanned Bobcats in a game at Houston, the skeevy peckerhead Josh Smith is still on the floor with a minute and a half to play and his team down twenty - at home - to a eight-man Bulls squad playing its second game in two nights after flying in from Boston. Grubbing for stats like a shitbird picking at a carcass.

Josh Smith is a stinking turd of a player and Sherman was right to burn Atlanta to the ground. They should never have been allowed to rebuild it.

Mark, you are now free to answer my trivia questions.
