So I stay away from Rondo thinking the Celtics will blow out the crappy Bobcats, opting for Deng in a tough test against Atlanta.
Charlotte stays within six of the Celtics going into the fourth quarter and Rondo goes for 39.
The fucking Hawks, meanwhile, shit their diapers in Chicago, putting up like, 14 points in the first half. Deng calls it a night with a 24. Like I could afford to give away 15 fp's against the Nitecaps.
Let me just say for the record, I hate Josh Smith, I hate the Atlanta Hawks, I hate the Atlanta Falcons, I hate the fucking city of Atlanta, I hate the entire shit-smelling American South.
Apologies to anyone whose hillbilly ancestors came from anywhere near there.
Ticket says No limit on second chances in a match period! Injured Paul goes Tue. and Thur.! Meanwhile I bench two points Nelson 36 & Collison 37 for a potential DNP and a 20 from 20 mpg Wall. My first pick gives me 17, so I second E-Team's sentiments about Josh Smith. Looks like I'm still in it with P4's Bosh playing like Smith & Irving playing like Wall-iiiiiiw#%&!
Invaders wonder if 3rd chance in same match period was ever anticipated when we voted-it's a rare event so I'm not sure we can deny Tom his 3rd chance even though no one ever thought about it... I never intended for there to be more than a 2nd chance but I believe we have to let it go because nothing was specifically said against the new rule being utilized this way-any thoughts on this?
Partial scores- ETeam -144+Duncan and Deng Nitecaps- 140 w/Melo yet to play....Swat-143 Parker still to play but injured hammy means Manu will DNP those B's have 104 Gay went to his grandma's funeral Lee ready to go tomorrow....P4 -155 and Irving yet to be counted Ticket- 65 his Paul has 2 more chances for a bruised knee to heal and Curry will play soon...My Invaders have 180 and JR ready to fire up shots Wingos 150 and Klay Thompson is still unaccounted for
Mark, Deng already went. He put up a 24 on Monday night.
And now we're giving guys not one but two chances to replace a DNP? I don't believe anybody ever signed off on that. And I wonder what the Germans would think of it being approved in the middle of their match.
Ticket says WTF? This is not an issue. Curry out anyway. I change my mind about agreeing with E-Team about hating the south and players there. Zaza, the Soviet and American Georgian, is a triple double guy tonite against a slow Net team on back to back nites, an eight time a year average disadvantage in the NBA.
Invaders are sorry for the ineffective scoring I was distracted by house guests this week Deng 24 has been added to E total that's why it's good to give partials to catch these mistakes-as for the 3rd chance w/Paul since we never specified that it can't be done how do we rule against it now?The Germans I remind everybody were the winners benefiting from the new rule against me last match when George had the flu but played the next evening...and Curry I just heard on my local news is out tonight so Tom has potentially 2 DNPs...my point is that consequences of these problems w/the new rule should even out among all teams the more matches that are played
What we grudgingly agreed on was that if a player has a second chance within a match period, he can amend a previous DNP. The argument was that it would counteract the freak, one-off missed game.
The fact the we never considered the possibility of a third match in the same period does not in any way equate to signing off on two chances to cover for one missed game.
In any case, don't all league members get an opportunity to participate in that discussion?
This lump of proletariat rejects the rule by fiat of the Brooklyn-Oakland cabal.
Invaders say I'm fine w/no 3rd chance if that's what you guys want-it is indeed quite rare for a team to play twice in a M-TH match period before a Thursday game
Also quite rare is the Piston schedule a team that hasn't played since Friday night and will play a day game tomorrow a Thursday vs. the Knicks (who haven't played since Sunday)-it's this game that's keeping me from posting final stats...but here's one final I can post-Swat defeats the B's 162-157 in a game featuring a team winning despite a DNP against an opponent w/ a 2nd chance DNP who scored 29 Swat(Parker-29...Manu-DNP...LBJ-47...Jeff-36...Gasol-22...Batum-38)B(Lin-25...Wade-21...Gay-29...Griff-21...DLee-24...Boozer-37)....
Ticket says Distracted by house guests? X-man in favor of a goose egg over a tally during a match period? E-Team spun around in the wrong direction in pursuit of home court ad? What does it do for a fantasy leaguer to believe a no-show is preferable to a late comer? You guys are just premature ejaculators. CP3 zero. Whoopie, no third chances, unless there's a late call followed by a DNP then a tally in the third game of a recognized match period. Since that's a loophole, let's eliminate the law against a third try. What comes to mind for those of you clinging to goose eggs, "The Bending Cross" by Eugene Debs, 19th century railroad union organizers dictum unequaled. Now back to my Crime and Punishment by Dostoyefsky. As a $20 every other week earner in mock court at John Jay College for Corrections officers in training, I will see an end to this discrimination against fantasy league selections.
Now that the London road trip is over we have scores!!...Final Eteam knocks off the high flying Nitecaps 204-175 E(Howard-51...Monta-28...Pierce-31...Duncan-36...Deng-24...Vasquez-34)Caps(Jennings-15...Kobe-40...Turner-24...Zebo-28...Pekovic-33...Melo-35)
Final no 3rd chances for the Ticketmeisters the Germans defeat the Brooklynites 178-92(only 2 digit score I can remember the last few years)P4(Irving-23...Bosh-19...Durant-50...Harden-31...Anderson-24...George-31)T(Monroe-27...Milsap-28...Josh-17...Curry-DNP...Paul-DNP...Wall-20)
Final Invaders wallop the Wingps 209-157 Invaders(BLopez-34...Lamarcus-43...Thad-24...Westbrook-51...JR-29...Vukevic-28)My Invaders 209 means I get my first 5 dollar win for high match score this year

Agreed. We voted on second chance points, not third.
