The Wingos, long of tooth whilst short of breath, drastically rejigger their front line, yet somehow hardly making the team better or different at all. Li'l H realized the problem was having a "whore" for[war]d (without former assistant coach Smilin' Dave keeping his pimp hand strong), so he now goes with two (2) for[eign]wards (out of the three on his roster)on a first-name basis... Indeed, no team has been within a half game of the Nitecaps since Match 15, when the X-Man swatted away the oncoming E Team in a head-to-head, sending that pretender into a six-match tailspin.
The Germans' took over the scoring lead two matches ago, but they coughed up a 174 to win their seventh straight in Match 26. Can the Caps defend their turf once again, or do the defending champions complete their triumphant return to the top?
A little further south, the streaking Mr. B, with his handsome Wade/Griffin/DLee trio, looks to move into the upper division with a win over Ticket.
